Democratic Dream Team

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton shooting at each other does not show their ability to push John McCain around and win the White House ["Now Comes the Hard Part," March 17].

It's too late for that. They both need to demonstrate their strength and ability to defeat McCain, putting him on the defensive over his positions. He should be their primary target. Their siblinglike fighting only leaves the real stage to McCain. If neither shows that ability and the Democratic convention produces no winning number of delegates for either, they should declare a stalemate, release the delegates from their required vote, and select someone who could win the White House. They should be courting Colin Powell, who with anyone would be a real dream team.

The demacratic party stinks' I will be voteing for John Mccain. Why bother voteing? It means nothing. All of our votes were erased by the party. How can they call obamas nomination a win? it was a give. I guess that is why he does not appear to be happy. He knows it was stolen from Hillary. I watched Dean remark that his loss was not about him but about the party .. T he party needs to realize it is not about the party but about America. We need to throw all of them out of Washington. If someone will start the movement you can count on me and about 18,000 more voters, i am sure.
