In "Oprah Lends Her Magic to Obama's Run" [December 10], one of the cities where Oprah's television show has its highest ratings is Columbia, S.C.

"A National Crisis of Confidence" [November 19] incorrectly reported poll figures relating to media bias. In fact, 78 percent of respondents to a Center for Public Leadership survey said the media were biased; of that group, 52 percent said the media were too liberal and 27 percent believed the media were too conservative. In addition, because of the surveying methods used, researchers at the center now believe that the poll number relating to confidence in the entertainment industry may be inaccurately low.
