The September 24 edition of U.S. News arrived in my mailbox recently.
I like the new look: very fresh and cutting edge. I hope you will reconsider one thing, however. Please return the maps to the National and World Briefs pages. As an educator fighting the rising tide of geographical ignorance among American youth, I know how important repeated exposure to maps is in attaining knowledge of the world around us. I frequently use your magazine in the classroom, and those two pages are always hits with my students.
