A Religious Perspective

In "Debating Debates" [August 6], you warned us that we have at least 17 more debates coming at us from our political leaders.

It's too bad we can't have just one serious debate from our religious leaders: the pope, grand imam, chief rabbi, etc. They could discuss whether God, Allah, or Yahweh is really going to reward believers for killing one another. We would rather see these leaders address this senseless, worldwide, religious slaughter than whether the mass should be in Latin again, whether women should wear a veil, or whether it is important to avoid eating pork.
