Is Mitt Romney Really Beating President Obama Among Women?
Tweet Share on Facebook May 16, 2012 Comment (12)There's an old song called "Spinning Wheel" from back in the day and one of the lines is "what goes up, must come down." That is so true if you look at the polls during this residential election. They seem to change hourly and many of them completely contradict one another.

How Dare Republicans Attack Obama on Bin Laden Death?
Tweet Share on Facebook May 2, 2012 Comment (35)Americans and the world came together to mark the one year anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden. Now those on the right attack the president for an ad that is running regarding his decisions surrounding this event. And for the past year, many on the right have belittled or downplayed the president's role in this event. Now, they accuse him of being the divisive one…perhaps they should not stand so close to their glass houses.

What John Edwards Is and Isn't Guilty of
Tweet Share on Facebook April 25, 2012 Comment (5)John Edwards is guilty! He is guilty of being a sleazebag, guilty of being an adulterer, but I do not believe that John Edwards is guilty of misusing campaign funds and violating Federal Election Commission campaign rules law.

Secret Service, Ted Nugent Owe President Obama Some Respect
Tweet Share on Facebook April 18, 2012 Comment (81)My favorite song is "Respect" by Aretha Franklin. And many will tell you, respect is earned. But in some cases, it's a given. Example? The office of the president of the United States of America. You might not like or respect the man, but you've got to respect the office. This is a concept many Americans agree on, even if they disagree ideologically.

Why Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley Wouldn't Help Romney as VP Picks
Tweet Share on Facebook April 11, 2012 Comment (15)Now that former Sen. Rick Santorum's officially announced he is putting his campaign on hold, it's looking almost inevitable that former Gov. Mitt Romney will be standing on that GOP platform. Although it could take until the end of May most likely for him to obtain that magic number of delegates needed to officially be the Republican candidate for president, it's even more likely to happen now with Rick Santorum out of the game.

Republicans Brought the Gender Gap Upon Themselves
Tweet Share on Facebook April 4, 2012 Comment (15)Former Gov. Mitt Romney might be sweeping the primaries and picking up a lot of delegates, but President Obama is sweeping female voters off their feet, so say the polls.

Let Jane Fonda Play Nancy Reagan
Tweet Share on Facebook March 28, 2012 Comment (28)Jane Fonda is in talks to play Nancy Reagan in a new film called The Butler.
Now this has outraged many Americans on the right; conservatives who feel such a liberal Democratic feminist should not be portraying Mrs. Reagan. And there are those who feel Ms. Fonda, due to her past as Hanoi Jane, should not be in films at all.

America Should Be Better Than the Afghan Massacre
Tweet Share on Facebook March 21, 2012 Comment (6)Tuesday morning as I was driving in my car, I heard an interview with a reporter that had spoken with a man in Afghanistan who was related to some of the victims of the 16 people murdered, or as many view it, massacred there.

Mitt Romney Is Much Tougher for Obama Than He Looks
Tweet Share on Facebook March 14, 2012 Comment (4)Anyone but Romney! That is what the South expressed Tuesday with the victory of former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum who came in first in both Alabama and Mississippi, with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich coming in second. Or perhaps they're saying former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney isn't conservative enough. He's not a true conservative.
