Hello Garry Holland of okpoh, good observations... but in this particular case the patient in question told that he couldn't tolerate the pills, he vomits them up. This was on an old campaign stop in New Hampshire .... youtube has it under "Mitt Romney meets medical marijuana patient" some different versions or so in there. Had seen it once and that left an impression. When Mitt Romney is on television and talks about liberty, this is what comes to mind.
Some good studies are available comparing smoked cannabis to marinal for other patients. A couple years ago my idea generally might have been that medical cannabis is a myth.. but then some online research revealed that it's "the most medicinal plant known to mankind" [quote in one video, "Run From The Cure"]. University research on the efficacy of medical cannabis is overwhelmingly positive as results are publiched.
Ron Paul has the right and healthy ideas on every topic. No society should turn against it's grown children.
An expectation of honesty in political leaders will grow.. and Dr. Paul has replanted the tree of Liberty.

The legal medical marijuana pill is available in prescription form called Marinol. Please do not broadcast that of which you are unaware.
Nevertheless, I would agree with accepting Dr. Ron Paul as our next POTUS. If Dr. Paul runs as a third party candidate and there is sufficient media coverage promoting his campaign, then I will definitely vote for him. If not, I will vote for Mitt Romney.
Mitt may not be my first choice, but if it means taking over for that Obama character, IMO at least, he will conduct himself and our beloved country in a much more sane fashion.

There comes a concern for cannabis from a ranting commentor. Mitt Romney - regarding that topic - is in videos on youtube telling a man deteriorating with a rare form of MS... who reports that he will literally die without smoked cannabis... Mitt Romney is telling this disabled 75 pound man in a wheelchair that "I will not legalize medical marijuana in this country". Holy crow! An effective herbal medicine to sustain life and the guy who wants to be our president intends forbidding it [even in the extreme case of someone dying when it's withheld].
Who are we? What has happened to our values?
Dr. Ron Paul understands such things as harm reduction and such things as "a house divided against itself cannot stand".
We shouldn't be bragging about kills and we shouldn't be denying effective herbal medicines to our sick and dying. Eighty percent of Americans favor medical cannabis... Mitt Romney and Barack Obama both work to forbid safe and effective medication to the people.

The Ron Paul movement transforms the Republican Party, it brings a maturity to the whole country. Is our society right to Brag about killing? No.
Neutralizing Osama bin Laden as a threat to innocents is a blessing, but gloating about it is distasteful.
Killing in self defense when there is a deranged terrorist mounting operations makes sense. Let's be above the rest. Dare to be better than a braggart.
