You said: "First let me start by saying that my father fought in the Korean War, my uncle in Vietnam, my cousin in Persian Gulf I and II, and another relative in Iraq and Afghanistan. So I am no stranger to the military. "

BUT How about you? You been some where, done that? If not, who cares what you think. Shut up and sit down... maybe Hanoi Jane will send you flowers. But wait a minute, thats not all.. here's a song you can hum... sung too the tune of The Green Beret... sing this for Not So Fonda Jane.. and maybe you'll get lucky -- get my drift?

Lyrics to Ballad Of The Yellow Beret:

This is a protest against protesters:

Fearless cowards of the U.S.A.

Bravely here at home they stay

They watch their friends get shipped away

The draft dodgers of the Yellow Beret

Yellow streaks up and down their spines

Men who gladly stay behind

They won't fight for the U.S.A.

They fought hard for the yellow beret

Men who faint at the sight of blood

Their high heeled boots weren't meant for mud

The draft board will hear their sob stories today

Only the best the yellow beret

Back at home a young wife waits

Her yellow beret has met his fate

He's been drafted for marching in a protest

Lyrics www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/bob_seger/

Leaving her his last request

Put a yellow streak down my sons back

Make sure that he never ever fights back

At his physical have him say he's gay

Have him win the yellow beret

The yellow beret

Yeah the yellow beret

“I would think that if you understood what communism was, that you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become communist.” Jane Fonda 1970

Two years later she says what a beautiful place and government Noth Vietnam has. Sits in an anti-aircraft gun with NVA blouse and pants.

Goes on TV to apologize and says she was sorry for allowing that picture to be taken. HUH. she never said she was sorry for sitting in that gun used to shoot at US heros only that her picture was taken.

I don't hate Jane, I pity her and have forgiven her, but I don't have to like her or what she did to my brother and those like him her served during Viet Nam. Nor do I have to forget what she did. I have served for 24 years so far in the military and will continue to protect the rights of even those who do not agree with what we do or stand for (like Jane). Those like me will not be seeing this movie and are disappointed someone would cast her in that role. But look at all the free publicity they are getting so I know why. All I can hope is there are enough like me who refuse to support her with our wallet. The unfortunate thing is Less than 1% serve in uniform and only around 6% are vererans, it is a small group that hold dear the tenants of Duty, Honor, Country. Hopefully those who claim to support us will stand with us here.

Just because you have the right to do something, doesn't mean you should. To put Jane Fonda in the role as Mrs. Nancy Reagan is a spit in the eye of all those military veterans, active duty military now under fire, that you mentioned. BTW, Jane Fonda has since recanted any conversation to Christianity. Like her so-called apology, it was all an act. The only reason she would take such a role is because she knows military veterans will speak out against her traitorous acts, and she probably hopes the publicity may revive her faded career. There is no good way to do a wrong thing, and she should not represent a real lady and patriot like Nancy Reagan.

You last paragraph was the best, I do have the right to boycott it, I wouldn't walk out in the yard to watch her do anything.

Here's is my comment like it or not. She is scum of the earth. Good actress or not. Thousands of vets can't be all wrong just because you think she is so great. Her telling news reporters how sorry she is because she is trying to sell her new book or movie really sucks. We all see wright threw her. We are sick of her. Thats wright we just have to not watch her. We will continue to do that. But why do we all have to forgive her let her forgive herself. Listen she made her bed let her lay in it.

jane you are a disgrace you did the unforgivable and you're only sorry when held accountable for it.

There is no way in the world that a traitor to our

country should be honored to play the role of Nancy

Reagan. I will not spend a penny that would enrich her even a half penny and I will certainly lobby against her with the people I know

Ed Ryan of CA 10:34PM March 28, 2012

Fonda never actually apologized, she just made excuses for her actions.
