Reading all these comments I have to wonder exactly how many Muslims the "Muslim Haters" actually know. My guess is not many. I have been fortunate enough to know a good many of them through a former marriage.

While their culture and customs are very different than ours, they DO NOT hate our American ideals. In fact I saw many instances where they emulate our Western ways. I shopped in malls and saw women dressed in modern western style. I saw how they love their families the same as we love ours and have strong family ties. I watched them drink, smoke and party.

I did see that women and men would seperate at public gatherings, but it was not a hard rule and often they would mingle. It was a moderate Muslim country.

I expected to see and experience a huge difference between them and us. However, apart from the customs and the rampant poverty, I found them to be more similar than not.

The show American Muslim attempts to show the American public the same thing I observed when traveling abroad to visit my Muslim inlaws. That Muslims are really not that different than you and me.

America may not be ready to accept that truth yet, but it does not make it any less of a truth. The muslim faith is spread ALL across this earth and to use examples of oppression from one Muslim country to portray Muslims from another part of the world is simply incorrect. When someone says all Muslims do this or believe that, they are showing their ignorance of the truth. And that truth is that most (not all) Muslims are just like you and me.

Once again, anoher left-leaning journalist accuses a Christian organization of "hate, predjudice and discrimination." So you "used to be" a Christian, Leslie? Did you even know Christ at all? If you truly knew Him, then you would have continued to follow Him, regardless of your disagreements with the FFA.

All American Muslim is just another attempt to show people that Muslims are "just like us," when the truth could not be more different. To watch one witless Irish-American convert to Islam to marry a Muslim woman was just too painful. Couldn't she convert to the chuch of Roman if she wanted to marry a "kaffur?" No, of courser not - she would have been put to death under Islamic law for leaving the "religion of peace." Let's not mnentiuon the "hoinor" killings, female genital mutilation and wife beatings. Just the sort of cultural enrichment America needs right?

One scene shows a young Muslim woman dressed from head to foot in a mobile tent, roller skating along a suburban sidewalk - how American!

Indeed, tell me how well a gay pride parade. or even a GBLT centre would go in Deerborn, Michigan, the USA's first Muslim caliphate?

I am just waiting for the next shows... All American Atheists, All American Buddhists, All American Catholics.­.. let's be fair now.....

I do not understand why All American Muslim this is a religious identity not an ethnicity. It should be called All American Syrian, All American Saudi Arabian, All American Egyptian and so on and so on, countries from the middle east. The world ethnicity is in America such as all American Mexican, All American Polish, All American Irish, All American German and so on and so on. They are not called All American Christians, All American Atheist, All American Protestant, All American Hindu and so on and so on. It is true not all Muslim are terrorist thank God but all the terrorism against America and around the world were executed by terrorist who claimed to be Muslim instead of saying the country of origin. Immigrants with medical background comes from all parts of the world most of them identifying countries of their origin so therefore why say you are Muslim instead of saying the name of your country. It is not just your Muslim husband and your Muslim mother-in-law who save lives and delivered babies. Gandhi who is not Christian expected to look for Christ among Christian as well as yourself is looking at a group of people or person who are in fine line in committing sins because of being human, Gandhi and yourself are judging another human being, the belief of Christianity is the only one who can judge is God, it is a sin for a person to judge another person and while on earth it is an individual spiritual prayers of grace and forgiveness to God, meaning it is between a person and God nobody else.
