"Taping anyone without their consent is illegal."

Not even partly true. It happens all the time and it is not illegal, although there are limitations in certain states.

This is tax payer money that funds these Coporations. When all they do is lie about how it is spent, sometimes these hidden cameras are necessaary to get to the truth. 60 Minutes made the hidden camera famous. Where is your outrage about that? Just another double standard from Leslie.

"The NPRs of the world are like the BBCs; they present the facts."

******

Not so much these days.

They used to be better. But then so was the BBC.

The quality of reporting these days is generally awful. NPR's news shows are usually not quite as poorly framed as Fox News' for sure. They have more interesting guests also, musicians, artists, scientists.

But not enough for me so I stopped listening to all broadcast and various cable new completely several years ago. I tune in rarely. But still, occasionally the staff commentariate on NPR will drop an uber-smug bomb and stink up the joint. Or betray their northeastern, bourgeoise class priviledges to the max.

Generally once a day.

I'd used to tune into Rush but as it turns out he's a liar, a hypocrite and on drugs. Who knew?

And his cohorts, Shannidy whatever...those guys are just past bizarre.

So lately I got an mp3 player and just listen to music and surf the net.

I suggest you all do the same.

The End

when did republicans and their flunkies ever care about breaking laws? They are sleazy frat boys that are hypocrites. They know that voters are asleep, can't make decisions for themselves.

liberals have jobs and that's why we

are not sitting around listening to someone like Rush everyday....like the losers who are attracted so such a show. We think for ourselves, not like the ditto heads who await el Rushbo's advice on what to think and believe. We can discuss anything that is happening in the world with more intelligence and understanding and knowledge of history, culture and human nature than any ditto head.

In short, we have careers and don't have time to argue with fools.

Leslie,

Liberal talk radio cannot and will not ever succeed because liberals like yourself cannot defend your opinions on a live radio show.

Liberal shows survive on television (Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell) simply because they are able to control who they choose to have as guests, and they control the flow of the interviews.

If these liberal television shows opened their phone lines to comments from American callers, the hosts would find themselves unable to defend their positions--with their small audiences quickly realizing the lack of substance in liberal thought.

Liberal thought cannot stand when challenged. Therefore, liberal talk shows will never succeed.

Oh how embarrassing for you - O'Keefe just released more video showing that NPR did indeed plan to accept the $5mil check, and conspired to help hid it from any government audit

Here's one of man links: http://dailycaller.com/2011/03/10/new-video-npr-was-going-to-accept-muslim-education-action-center-donation-and-hide-it-from-the-government/

And you wail about whether or not O'Keefe broke any laws getting this tidbit?

And supposedly there is even more dirt to be released shortly.

Too funny......

As if the rest of her self-serving diatribe weren't enough of a howler, I quote from the author's own bio line:

"Leslie is also a Fox News contributor seen weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, America Live, The Willis Report and Freedom Watch."

Ummm, perhaps someone can check my math, but when you appear WEEKLY on four different shows on the supposedly so-far-right-it-fell-off-the-edge-of-the-world FOX News Channel, how exactly is the evil corporate media stifling your voice in the debate??

If what you have to say is so important, how is it that those nasty ol' Republicans on FOX are the only ones to give you a platform. Isn't there ONE Democrat at anoy of the other networks who wants to hear your opinions?

If not, you may want to ask yourself why...
