The Fact is our Entire Government is incompetent. Career senators and congressman that have been taking money by huge cooperation’s, in plain English these are called “Bribes” to pass laws that help them. Unfortunately these same people end up infiltrating any 3rd party such as Bachman in the tea party. These people are puppets to corrupt Banker backed schemers. The constitution is Law and everyone in our current Regime has wiped their asses with it! Fire them all. We need people with Experience? In what? Corruption? Wrong!

Ms. Maeshall is right. This country doesn't need to go out and vote based on knee-jerk anger. Yes getting rid of an incumbent may be the theme but when thought, good rational/logical is given do youreally want someone in office that may be worse then the person being voted out? During the last Presidential election one of the ads simply stated do your own research on the candidates. Look at voting records, listen to debates and then make an informed choice. Not a choice based on "Vote da bum out".

I was wondering, does anyone else out there sometimes feel that the republicans go out of their way to choose dummies to run for office, the dumber the better. Seems like astrange way to pick candidates, and a stranger way to run a country. I really don't think we are going to be able stay up with the rest of the world if this keeps up.

Ronald Reagan's budget director, who once championed the positive trickle-down effects of tax cuts, now says Republicans pushing to extend the Bush tax cuts should be ashamed of themselves. David Stockman tells Lesley Stahl that to continue tax cuts as the debt grows by $100 billion a month and not have the will to cut spending is "demagoguery."

First, at the time of this writing, total contributions for the midterm elections are going over 4 billion and are basically distributed evenly between the two parties (according to The Center for Responsive Politics).

This whole election process has been a deflection from a straight "what are the issues" campaign and instead to character judgments that start based on an individuals and then are used to cast a label on the targeted group. If both sides want to look at each tree in the forest, then we should start with our so called leaders. Listen to the rhetoric of Rep. Grayson yelling on the congressional floor that all the Republicans want you to do is get sick and then die. Listen to our President; Obama just appealed to Latino's to go against their "enemies" in this election, pitting Americans against Americans. Obama also stated that Democrats should keep the Republicans in the back of the bus, as Republicans are only welcome to go for the ride - kind of makes you teary eyed to see that level of leadership.

Bottom line - this has nothing to do with a Tea Party threat (which was dismissed as "Astro Truf"), but points to the real threat of a leadership gap. In what is one of this country's most difficult times in history, an "ends justifies the means" mentality to win an election, has replaced debate on defined issues. American citizens, on both sides of the isle must foster what is common amongst us instead of our differences. Americans must force our leaders to focus on the problems that can cripple this nation - accept no less, allow no latitude.

What's really scary is that there are people out there who actually think that sending dummies to Washington is going to help America. When it was bush and his legion of dummies who got us into this rough spot. It will take years to undo the damage inflicted on the US by bush and his cronies. Ah, but right wing nuts have got a solution , let's send even more dummies to Washington.

Why yes!

That's exactly why the TeaParty exists today.

Think of it as "Community Organizing" conservative style.

We've undergone unbelievable attacks with very little in the way of facts (just like this article).

Yes there have been a few flakes and gaffes but somehow the equally horrible gaffes on the "other side" go unreported by MSM. Imagine that?

There is clearly a divide in America these dayz but it truely comes down to a fact that NEITHER party represents US.

It will take several election cycles to weed the FOOLS out!

The important fact is that the "Right" is trying to adjust while the "Left" seems perfectly happy driving US towards the Euro-meltdown we're seeing today.

The Euro-Socialist-Nanny-states have finally faced the reality of "budgets" and the people that got used to free candy are rioting in the streets now that they're taking it away.

This is NOT the "Change" the USA was looking for!

Maybe the TeaParty and 2010-2012 will offer the real thing.

I don't see how sending a bunch of dummies to Washington will help the US. Seems like we would have learned our lesson after bush. What is that saying? Those who don't know their history are condemned to repeat it. If the republicans keep on choosing fruit loops and dummies we are sunk.

The racist deep south is all GOP for a reason; the Northern Democrats stopped accomidating southern Dem racism for southern votes. Now the south is all GOP and the Black Community is almost entirely made up of Democrats. Go peddle your stupidity elsewhere!
