Tea Party Extremism Will Help Democrats in 2010 Election

Well, in the end it looks like the Tea Party did, in fact, lead the Republicans to galloping ruin in the 2010 mid-term elections. Yup, it was a regular Alice’s Restaurant Massacre.

What is the point that is being made with the talk about O’Donnell and the Tea Party? The point is Americans are fed up with the politics and are accepting "flawed" candidates that they believe will put America’s interest first and politics last. The danger of the movement to both of the major parties is that it’s not about a political future. A Christine O’Donnell could be elected for one term and for good or bad, try to bring some of the national issues to a head. Sometimes that s the correct you may need for a system needs to be reset in order to govern properly.

I agree with the writer. Most people "Do Not" want the Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy extended. For those making over $250,000 per year. The Tea crazies are way too extreme for most of this country. They will split the Republican's, scare away the moderates, and they who stand for nothing but saying "NO" to everything. Social issues do not win elections.

Abortion, Cutting Taxes, Small Government, what a joke. Bush was no Republican and neither was Ronald Regan if you use that litmus test. Look at the deficits after Regan and GWB! Spiked up to new records for spending.

So look before you leap and smell the roses guys. The Republican's create the messes and Democrat's have had to clean it up, twice in the past few decades. Your ideas, or lack of, are creating this mess. Democrat's will remain in power in both houses for sure. You can bet on it!

Please nominate Sara Palin for 2012 and ensure that Obama wins again. Go ahead, make my day!

That's o k Leslie, just keep thinking the way you do. You just don't see it coming yet, huh ?? Still got those blinders on and cannot see the anger in the voters who are sick and tired of not being represented by the people they put in office. That's o k, you will see our version of "Hope and Change" this November !!

Are you on the same planet as the rest of us?

This writer is out of touch. Which poll stated that only 29% wanted Bush tax cut to remain? Are you in this country or you're reporting from Iraq.

Emmanuel of VA 9:29PM September 18, 2010

Democrats should thank the tea party for giving them a very long vacation after the November elections. thats about it.

and if you consider holding true to the constitution, the living, breathing document this country was founded on to be extreme then you shouldn't even be in this country let alone writing crappy opinion pieces on a website.

Where has the Tea Party, endorced Socialist ideals? Brown Shirts? I smell the Ghost of Sal Alinsky? Paint other people as "extremeists." Isolate them?...

If the Tea Party hates Jews? Wouldn't I see it on JLTV? Obama endorces the Mosque @ Ground Zero? He has no respect for those who died on 911! People of all faiths died. I'm sure there were Jews, Christans, Muslims, Athiests etc. People of faith, and no faith at all! What about the New Black Panther Party?

I don't see the Tea Party blocking voters basied on (race).

Bush II, McCain, Obama bailed out the banks!

Obama did his stimlus, runs General Motors, has czars etc.

If the Tea Party is facist wouldn't they be overjoyed with all the Gov. Spending and hostile take-overs of Wall Street?

They don't look to the "Rich" to save them. They look to "eachother".

It's not about race, it's about ideals! Anyone is free to join, any color, any creed or no creed at all!

The Republic should be saved! A limited Republic, not a Socialist Dictatorship viva Hugo Chavez!

Gordon Gecko destroyed businesses in Wall Street, so he could enrich himself...

That was fiction.....

Our elected officals are destroying the economic infrastructure of the USA, this is REALITY not FICTION!

The New York Time and CBS News, not exactly conservative news outlets, did a poll in April that came to the conclusion that Tea party supporters were more educated and wealthier than the general public.

Herman Cain the former owner and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza is one of their most admired speakers. And for those of you who have never heard of Herman, he is now a very respected conservative talk show host, that I wish would run for president in 2012, and yes he is black.

I have put this link out several times and I will continue as long as idiots keep lying about the hate speech at Tea Party gathering that in reality only exists in liberals imagination. This is showing the real hate mongers at anti Bush rallies.

And the last thing, I keep reading liberals talking about the bullying or violence from the tea party but once again the only violence that has occurred at tea party gathers is SEIU thugs beating up a conservative black man and SEIU members throwing eggs at a tea party bus.

Are liberals just hoping if they repeat lies enough people will believe them?

Why don't you take your insulting , pompass attitude and stuff it . Nov. is comming , your party will be in the minority as is the 20% of Americans that think like you do .
