Supreme Court Ruling Empowers Corporations More Than Labor Unions

Where does the Constitution state that a "level playing field" must exist for one to be granted freedom of speech? If you want a "level playing field", there is no way in the world that I, as a private citizen, can compete with Big Union. So do we now take away their freedom of speech? You should go back to 1st grade and learn about our Constitution!

This is truly a sad thing. Every American citizen should be aware of this and afraid of this. This ruling means that corporations, American or otherwise (China or Saudi Arabia), will be able to control America from the Foundation. Not the citizens.

The supreme court justices who voted for this should be in review and/or impeached from their positions.

This is absurd and any American who thinks this should be allowed should move to a Fascist country.

***Corporations do not die for freedom. Americans do.***

I truly see a revolution coming.

Corporations are not people. Money is not speech. Only by conveniently-twisted logic could it be argued otherwise.

Now that SCOTUS has forced our hand, public campaign finance is the only way to solve the problem of (now) legalized bribery. After all, why shouldn't we, the People, pay for OUR own elections? I can't think of a better use of tax-payer money.

In the meantime, the five-justice majority ought to be charged with treason.

The fact that 95% of contributions from Unions go to Democrats - despite the wishes of most of their members - skews your own admittedly inaccurate business donation totals. Beside, Democrats now get most Business graft as well. This pretty much leaves private Americans voting Republican vs. the special interests who so dominate Democrat "policy".
