This story is just wishful thinking on the left's part. The main reason you can know that this story is bogus is that Beck's fans are more weighted towards a younger audience than what people like Farrell and most of the left leaning media want you to think.
How do I know? I went to Beck's Restoring Honor event in Washington DC. I saw who was there and I think I know what old and young people look like. I think the median age was probably 30 - 35. Now I suppose to some people this might seem elderly but I seriously doubt that the median age of the twits who watch BSNBC is any younger. I will give BSNBC credit for one thing, their audience is definitely younger in mental ability. Perhaps the median mental age is more like 12 to 18 months. This explains why they always want their big nanny state to wipe their butts and feed them.

Glenn Beck is a globalist and so are the majority of the political left and right.If you are not aware of where Beck gets most of his material it is from a true patriot named Alex Jones at infowars.com download his podcasts and you'll see the material Alex covers is then repeated on Beck's show.Unfortunately he never brings the subject full circle like Alex does so you get half truths and beck is put there to lead you astray.What America needs is a President that is neither left or right but instead a constitutionalist someone who believes in the founding fathers and the principals that helped make America great.Unfortunately both bush and Barrack both work for big bankers and big industry and bat for the same globalist team which will only take the country down one road.What Bush started barrack is accelerating,soon the country will be destroyed by these New world Order pundits.As Bush senior said in his speech he wants a new world order which is run by unelected Elites rather than constitutionally elected government,they will start wars and grab the coattails of the green revolution which they started and proceed to take away as many rights that you have until they can fully implement their endgame,Killing the Republic of America and running the planet through a scientific green elite dictatorrship.You need to watch the film Endgame,then Obama deception,also 2 doco's by Jason Bermas, These can all be found free of charge at youtube.If you like what beck teaches your going to love the real thing at infowars.com and remember don't bury your head in the sand just because it's not a happy message your hearing,you weren't put on earth to have a good time all of the time espescially when tyrants want you dead! it's time to wake up and smell the manure,bad people are running things and corruption is rife.It's time for the people to have a say as to what future your children will be living in.And by the way Alex Jones is the one that constantly say's don't believe me check it out for yourself and gives a document cam shot of what he's reading from so you can easily look it up yourself.If you've ever thought things aren't quite right something's goin on then do yourself your family and your country a favor and listen to Alex at infowars and all the great guests he constantly has on his show.He may not be backed by big media but you'll never get the truth from big media news stations.Beck has a Team of about 5 people hired just to listen to Alex Jones show and report back to him,this is a fact leaked by a fox worker to info wars.Goddluck God Bless.

Who cares about his rating, Beck is a losing proposition for FOX because he has scared away all the advertising revenue.
As much as Beck wants it to be all about Beck, his dishonest crazy talk is not helping anyone but Beck's bank account. Sorry but the Mythology of Glenn Beck doesn't hold up to the light of day.
I don't like him and won't ever watch him again.
Do what you will, but don't get suckered into his crazy babble seriously because its all garbage working against our republic.

I agree with you that there are people who refuse to watch Glenn Beck's show for one reason only ...they just may be persuaded to ponder another view (or they're simply too bull-headed!).
Beck has the educational talent and ability to present like that of a university professor, but he goes one step futher. Unlike those college professors who deem their instruction and their word as "god" and, as such, meant to go unchallenged, Beck, on every show I've seen, challenges the audience to confirm what he is saying, and seems insistent for us to "check it out". I have never seen or heard of any other instructor with such confidence.
Those who keyboard on this forum who call Beck names like "liar", "hypocrite", "hate-monger", "televangelist", and such, I'm reasonably certain they have not watched even a single show.
...and, as such, I dismiss "them"!

I hate to be the one with "coin in his pocket" that cares about liberty and watches Glenn Beck. If people would watch his show listen to the facts his spills out and then gain their own opinion this country would be a better place. If you can't see where this country is headed then you need to WAKE UP!!

I don't think any of you have actually watched Glenn by your comments. He is not a them against us guy. He is trying to educate the totally uninformed who do not understand the way that the strength of America is being undercut by those who call themselves the progressives. Maybe fewer people are viewing Beck. I, and perhaps the other people with coin in their pockets, don't care for Beck and his kind of trash talk. Let the "free market" decide. I notice the free market folks are all for the free market until someone suggests we cut off their medicare or Social Security check. Two faced or phonies??
