Christine O'Donnell's Fiscal Gaffes Should Shame Palin, Tea Party

The Tea Party types claim they are about fiscal responsibility.

And yet they are gaga over Christine O'Donnell, their candidate in the Delaware Senate race.

[See a roundup of editorial cartoons about the Tea Party movement.]

O'Donnell is famous for not paying her mortgage, or her college tuition bills.

But, hey, in a down economy this sometimes happens. Her heart is in the right place, right?

But what about 2008, when she was also running for the Senate?

According to Politico, O'Donnell had a hard time understanding the meaning of a budget.

Keegan, whose job was to oversee the campaign budget, said he repeatedly clashed with O'Donnell over expenses.

He said O'Donnell's phone service got cut off because she had failed to keep up with her payments, forcing her to trek to relatives’ homes to make campaign calls.

"It was always a misunderstanding," he said, describing her explanation when he would confront her about the recurring problems.

When O'Donnell wanted to place an order for hundreds of campaign T-shirts, Keegan said, she asked him to put the charge on his personal credit card.

"I said, ‘No, how are we going to pay for them? Her famous quote was always, 'have them invoice it.' "

Have them invoice it.

Dodge responsibility. Let somebody else eat the bill. Push the debt onto someone else. It's all about me.

Have them invoice it. Sarah Palin and the Tea Party people should be ashamed of themselves.

Prefur? This woman has lied about just about everything!

Does that make the misdeeds of our currently elected officials less offensive? Of course not! They should be held to, at least, the same laws and standards as the rest of us and, if guilty of an offense/s, be treated appropiately.

Crimes against persons should result in incarceration. Crimes of fraud, and similar monetary crimes, should exact from the guilty more than they misappropriated! And the monies should be returned to those financially injured.

Have you truly looked at Who is taking your hard earned dollars??... I think we should Continue to pay the rich elite $350,000 dollars, at least, per year, don't you?... Maybe for 'gracing our planet' and making their Own families more enriched.

That's the Average tax 'break' that, by the way!- would pay for healthcare for the true poor -like me...And has left me AND thousands JOBless or underemployed living in homes that whistle wind but cannot afford to update -but wait!! ....We all Know that if we take the break from the rich we won't get jobs...what a crock!! What about the last ten Years?? Where's the jobs that those 'breaks' have created?? Where ARE they??? That 'break' is significantly more than I make in per year.., more than Ten years actually. But let's side with the "down-home-jislike Us'n's" that the rich are hiring/using to take our scared-stupid-ness and our money right to the top so their Own bills can, and most assuredly Will, be "invoiced"..'RIGHT'?
