Crazy-Joe Biden didn't seem to hurt Delaware too much.Let's hear it for the first public speaker who blurts whatever comes to mind !

I understand that Ms. O'Donnell has previously proposed using healthcare vouchers to provide healthcare services for eligible veterans.

Why does any candidate support sending Americans into harm's in foreign lands on behalf of the security of the United States and then tell them that they should be willing to argue with an HMO and making copays when it comes to receiving healthcare benefits?

As a veteran, I might consider her proposal when all HMO CEOs and all Members of Congress serve a combat tour in the Armed Forces in harm's way.

Who would believe that in the face of all our proven science, starting with the Earth is round, putting man on the moon, and the fact that I can type this message on a machine that will send this message to the far corners of the Earth faster than the speed of light would cause us all to wonder if maybe the sciences may have overridden the silly legends most of us were brought up with. Is it because so many fear death or do they just need a crutch? Is that what cause them to cling to the various religions?

No wonder there is a decline in science students in the US.

If you go to any University that has a graduate program in Science of Technology, you will know what I am talking about. While the impressionable highschool kids in the US are confused with earth being created in a day and taking up careers like working at the McD and cleaning dishes, the "Rise of the rest" is seen right here in our schools.

Take the Spelling bee champs- Indians

Take the Graduate students in Science and technology-Chinese and Indians

Take the people who start tech companies -mostly Asians

-and what do we plan to do about this-Send all the legal intellectuals back, because we dont need damn brown or yellow people here to keep us at the top..let'em go back and compete with our kids.

and where are the American kids? Talking about rights, expression and earth being created in a day about 6,000 years ago..and thinking about careers in music and arts..wow, we've come a long way to keep this country at the top of technological innovation!

The person above who thinks Genesis is more logical than evolution theory has gotta be nuts. There may be problems with evolution theory (I don't think any scientist has ever claimed it was 100% perfect), but at least it makes sense. I read Genesis at about the same time I took Earth Science in high school. Genesis is replete with inaccuracies like the firmament, windows that open for rain to come through, stars "set into" the firmament, and countless others. And don't even get me started on light being around before the sun and moon (which were also explained in inaccurate terms). Throw in two different accounts of the order of creation, and you've got a mess that can ONLY be believed by faith.

Regardless of how fervently people believe the Genesis account, you cannot teach it in school alongside evolution unless you're prepared to offer up every other creation myth. There is exactly as much evidence for Genesis as there is for the gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

The same way that experience as a community organizer and a Junior Senator make you qualified to be President.

Sarcastically, the author of the article writes:

"Let's see. Darwin was wrong, the earth is 6,000 years old, and creationism should be taught in the public schools."

What should be taught in schools?

Let's teach Cutting-Edge Science, such as:

- Matter from explosions does not condense to form objects like galaxies.

. . .

- Amino acids do not randomly interact to form living cells through undirected natural processes.

- Molecules-to-man evolutionism violates the Law of Biogenesis: Life does not come from non-life.

- The specific complexity of genetic information in the genome does not increase spontaneously. Therefore, there is no natural process whereby reptiles can turn into birds, land mammals into whales, or chimpanzees into human beings.

- All organisms are irreducibly complex. Therefore, in order for any kind of organism to exist, all of the essential parts of that organism must be fully functioning from the beginning of its existence.

. . .

- Many worldwide natural processes indicate an age for the earth of 10,000 years or less. These include population kinetics, influx of radiocarbon into earth’s atmosphere, absence of meteorites from the geologic column, and decay of earth’s magnetic field.

. . .

- There is no gradualism in the fossil record, no intermediate types.

CONCLUSION: Natural science offers no evidence that would contradict the plain and obvious sense of Genesis 1-11

99% of the abortions in this country happen in the first trimester. There were only 6 mid term abortions in the USA in 2009. These were done to save a mother's life. The pro-life groups use the baby left to die as a way to shock you, when in actuality this no longer happens.

Vera Walker of CA 2:54PM September 17, 2010

Is easier on the conscious to talk of rape rather than discussing pre-birth babies left on a counter top to die when at the last minute before birth mommy does not want responsibility.

Pre-birth murder occurs far more often than rape.

In this modern world we have DAY AFTER pill as well as birth control. Yes accidents do happen. Not as large a number as the number of abortions. There are even more contraceptives devices. Some go under the skin of a female. There are wrappers for women’s present.
