One would hope the decent American people would wake up one morning and decide to take their government and media back from Zionist dominion! 95% of Anti-American hatred in the World is due to the unwavering, unconditional support the US gives to the "Murder Machine'; Israel

israel's position is reasonable and backed by precedent.ships that run blockades may be attacked and sunk under international law.the gaza blockade was known to all,and certainly to those who launched the ships for the very purpose of breaking it.we dis the same thing during th u.s. civil war.israel's ,and it has precedent.

I think Israel is a liability. As far as sharing the same ideals....I don't think so. I am not a fan of apartheid.

Ben of AZ 9:15PM June 06, 2010

Sorry, Anthony Cordesman. I do not share values with Avigdor Lieberman and Binyamin Netanyahu. What passes for democracy in Israel and some other repressive countries is insignificant when compared to civil rights and liberty.

I notice, Patrick, that you failed to answer my question.

T. Erickson of GA 6:29PM June 05, 2010

You're wasting your time. Concerned and T of Ga. seem to be anti Israel, no matter what will be said. They don't seem to understand that if the rockets would stop, it would help. Don't understand that if Hammas would quit making rockets aid would flow easier. Don't understand that suicide bombers, wheather men, women or children are terrorist. I find it quite appalling to compare poeple that hide among women and children and use schools and hospitals as cover to our fighting men and women. Seems to me Hammas or any other terrorist group are quite guttless, otherwise, put on a uniform and fight like a man. They don't understand that if the palestinians, Hammas and Iran would quite threatening to kill all jews and drive them into the ocean, it would help. They don't understand that if they would recogize Israels right to exist it would help in the peace proccess. They don't bring up Eygpt to has fences and check points on the Gaza border.

It's all Israels fault. you're wasting your time.

The stooges in Congress and the WhiteHouse will not allow the inhuman commandos of Israel to be punished. Remember these are the same filthy animals who bombed & killed thousands of innocent children under 10 in Gaza and West Bank. The injustice will prevail but for how long. Winning elections through contributions and then selling your soul are the typical American leaders of today who get almost no respect anywhere in the world. No wonder Hitler reportedly said I am leaving some jews so you would know why I killed so many.

J Hyde of DC 5:42PM June 05, 2010

No Patrick, I didn't see where you explained yourself. What is the difference between terrorist and freedom fighter? I look forward to your explanation. I know I would gladly die for my country and my freedom so I do not understand why it is so hard to believe that another would die for his and resist oppression with whatever means he has at his disposal. I don't condone it but I understand it.

T. Erickson of GA 5:24PM June 05, 2010

Terrorists and freedom fighters, Erickson? Well, I did respond to that and as a former soldier you ought to know the difference too.

Pro-palestinis and peace activists? Yep, I answered that as well.

Propaganda? How do we know what you and concerned are not Palestini propagandists? If we look at history, Palestine has not cooperated and has rejected a two-state option. The people on-board the flotilla had the option to stop at an Israeli or Egyptian port to have their cargo checked and sent on to Gaza. Instead they decide to act like smugglers and try to force their way through. Hmm...does that sound like peace? NO!!! This sounds like supporters for a terrorist group.

If you don't like what's happening in Gaza, then maybe you should help support Israel in defeating Hamas and telling the Palestinians to get their acts together and stop acting like a bunch of thugs. If they were to do this, Israel would be in less of a position to have a wall or a blockade. But until the threats to Israel's existence end and the terrorism stops, then Israel will have to continue protecting itself.
