could have beaten Terry McAuliffe in an election. Terry is not credible to an actual voter in Virginia or anywhere else.
As for Donna of Texas, below. Why are you preaching to the sons and daughters of some other part of the country? Last we heard, your Republican governor is leading you to secede from the union (again).

If Deeds is more conservative then McDonnell, then you're hopefully right and the GOP will be beaten.
One comment to the 'sons and daughters of the Appalachians': The party of the 'little guy' (Democrats) is keeping you little. Open your minds to the party that will help you become the best you can be - that would be the party against gov.t interference, for education choice so you can choose the school you want to attend, low taxes so you can keep most of your hard-earned money, and for your individual rights for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Think about it: Democrats have supposedly been waging a "War on Poverty" for 60 years; have had control of Congress for over 40 of those years - and the % of people in poverty is higher now than when they started. Democrats are keeping people down...it's time to give the other party your honest assessment, and not just listen to old worn out cliches THAT HAVE DONE NOTHING but divide us.
