Well done John,

Juicy fruit anyone? I went to school with Kate in Oxford and she was a Nancy sympathizer. She always wore thigh length leather boots, and only partially shaved her tash.

Your satirical observation of this piece certainly fooled most of the Commentators.

Actually 'Commentators' is allegedly a new Ricky Greaseface production about bloggers trying to break into the world of 'real' writing.

I bet you're a lot of fun at parties.

really swung for the fences and missed with this entry John boy.

Can't win 'em all and you can count this one as a loss.

Is this a joke? Extras isn't a documentary, it's a hilarious sitcom about relationships within the entertainment industry where famous actors are willing to portray themselves as absolute charicatures of "themselves". I don't think Gervais and Merchant would have made the series if anyone else was as thick and senseless as you. You are quite the anus.

PS. please tell me you've never seen Bo Selecta...

I think you may have made the mistake of only watching one episode, perhaps scene from the Extras series. All the actors ar meant to play a character, that is completly differant to what you expect. If your taking the whole Extras series seriously (which you clearly have done) then Orlando Bloom is an insecure child who hates Johnny Depp and Patrick Stewart is a man obsessed with seeing womens clothes 'just fall off'. I think you should take Extras a little less seriously and just enjoy it for what it is... Hilarious.. and stop over analysing it!

lmao, what a silly, silly article.

It's a SITCOM - Situation COMEDY. AKA not to be taken that seriously. Obviously there are real points and ponient moments scattered throughout but what you're talking about is plain pisstaking.

Get a brain.

And bloody good fictional comedy writing it remains! Sorry Mr Farrell, at least you filled the space.

....in your country a bad name.

Try and find something you do understand, then write an article on it.

Pete 8:50AM January 28, 2009

When you were growing up did you not understand a lot of what was being said and laughed at by adults????? This article seems to highlight things haven't really changed for you!

As a Brit you are fulfilling a wonderful stereotype of "A typical yank" and giving those that do understand advanced humour (humor I believe you spell it).
