Can you tell me why O and his supporters want everything rammed into law yesterday, with no debate, or even just time to read the bills. Hell, most Dems now make it a badge of honor to laugh about how they haven't attempted to read waxman-Markey or the 2o versions of health bills.
And by the way, your boy O has made more references to god than any Pres/VP known to mankind, including his pre-election run down south where he promised to bring God's reiign down here to earth. I'm no bible thumper, I just believe in right and wrong, but too many like you with the sarcastic cheap shots have your own religion. It's what you make of agnosticism, or Atheism or science. But you hold on to them and make your own little world, one that's always changing as science moves forward, till your obstinacy is no less than the fiercest evangelist on earth.
When I first voted in the mid seventies, the Democratic party was about some sense of decency. Now it's you. and Obama, and pelosi,etal, who would rather try to be slick and mean spirited, supplanting logical argument with petty vindictiveness. The shame is that you try to be slick, but you'll never be good at it.

If we have invited Jesus into our heart, we know that all the Bible is real. It is going to be a sad day for the naysayers on Judgement Day--which is coming!! When you lose all your rights that is incorporated into the present HealthCare Bill, you are going to wish you had voted Republician. I do not support all they stand for, but I am 70 years of age and I do not want to lose all my freedom. Neither do I want a committee who knows nothing about medicine, only trying to save money, to decide how and when I die and are at liberty to take from all accounts, including checking and savings exactly what they want. I do not want politicians, etc playing God for my life. PEOPLE BETTER WAKE UP TO THE REAL WORLD AND WHAT MOST OF 535 PEOPLE ARE DOING TO US NOW!!!
If God does not help America, America is doomed. It will be too late to believe me at the end of your life.

Wow - just about a year later and this article is still taking comments! Well, here are my two cents about something I came to fully own only this year: there is no truth - only perspective. And my almost 5 decades on this earth have shaped my perspective in such a way that I can no longer believe that the Bible and science are mutually exclusive, and I dare anyone to prove without a shadow of a doubt that they are.

Totally agree that the last statement is utterly ridiculous! We all know evolution is A THEORY==hands down! Rather ignorant of the facts is the thought that the Bible and history and science are not in perfect agreement. Study and you will notice this to be so!

Anyone who proclaims science over the Word of God has reached the epitome of ignorance. I agree evolution is science, but I also believe it is a theory -- assumption, possibility, a belief in the absence of true knowledge. But the Word of God is true and lacks nothing. I also agree the Republican party is ignorant but for different reasons.

Has everyone forgotten the other side of Obamas Life. He is half white yet everyone refers to him as our first African American President. Why not Our 1st by-racial president, that would be more truthful. First of all ,Sarah Palin as unexperienced as she may have been does not or did not deserve the media attacking her in which the manner they did. she was asked to try to serve her country and she stepped up to try to do the right thimg. the media swept away any of obamas shortcomings such as involvement to acorn, rev wright. and even his friends of questionable morals such as his friends that helped him get his 1.6 million dollar home in illinois. the media elected barack obama. my daughter is only 13 and her life and the lives of her children are going to marred in debt well their country, for many years.america is the greatest country in the world and things have to be done to keep it that way, i did not vote for president obama but i hope he suceeds for the welfare of the country but we as citizens have to be wary of the price we are going to pay

Anyone who thinks Sarah Palin is advocating teen pregnancy is totally in the dark or perhaps selectively reading into the situation as one chooses to sees it. This young woman, Bristol Palin has taken her situation and has gone public in order to let young women see that this is not a choice to be taken lightly. She has chosen life and all the problems that go with being young, still in school and choosing to take care of her baby. This is by no means a glamerous job. She has stepped up to the plate and said "yes, I did something wrong" and I want to be a spokesperson for other teens. She's spreading the word. Wait, it's very difficult to be a teenage mother. That is the message the Palin's, especially Bristol is sending. I for one admire her determination and wish her well.

There are some ignorant people in this country.... First of all, evolution does not attempt to explain how everything was conceived initially. Evolution simply explains how plants, animals, humans, and the planets developed over time. One individual commented that there is no proof of evolution....do fossils ring a bell guy? Do you realize that scientists can line skeletons up side by side and see how certain creatures have developed and changed over time? Anyone who can look at evidence and science like that and disregard it completely as "theories" is simply ignorant. Secondly, President Obama was born on United States soil. It does not matter who his parents are, what their citizenship is, and so on, he was born in the United States = US Citizen. In addition, his father is from Kenya, his mother is from Kansas...where is the Arabic blood there? Yes he spent time in the middle east, but don't try and make him out to be some kind of untrustworthy terrorist. Finally, Hitler MURDERED at least 10 MILLION PEOPLE! He had them SHOT, GASSED, and BURNED! Are you kidding me? How can you compare President Obama to Hitler? Last I checked, President Obama was not orchestrating mass genocide. You people are the reason everybody thinks Americans are ignorant red-necks. I fought for my country for 15 months in SW Baghdad, stop making me look bad!
