That says it all.

She had a baby and can talk to girls about all that it entails from her viewpoint…

What do multimillionaire basketball stars have in common with everyday kids ?

Well, multimillionaire basketball stars were at one time everyday kids.

Why did Mothers tell their children they could grow up and be President ?

While it's extremely unlikely, it's a parents way of trying to inspire their children to do great things.

How can anybody pay to listen to Bill Clinton with his wealth and past ?

Whether or not you like Bill Clinton he is an excellent public speaker

Bristol swindles by deceit ? Do explain that. Her past seems to be a open book.

Did Bristol say she wanted to have a child ? Only she knows...

Who paid for Bristol's condo in Anchorage? Bristol has said that she works in a Doctor's office. Certainly the wages of a 19 year old high school dropout wouldn't be enough to qualify for a $272,000 mortgage. As for Palin trying to conceive a child with Levi, the information comes from Levi's sister Mercede.

She will make money doing this if there is a market for her. Her Mother is doing just fine too. Both role models in their own way. Equal to men. Hopefully in pay as well according to their abilities..

Sarah Palin is not equal to a man though she could be if she wanted. In the subset of Christianity that Sarah and Todd subscribe to, the wife is submissive to the husband in all things. Sarah's father has publicly said that Sarah doesn't make her own decisions.

If you are right, Bristol can lower her standard of living and draw her welfare check.

Though Bristol and her son Tripp receive free medical care from the State of Alaska, I doubt that she could qualify for any welfare.

that any responsible organization would pay 14,000 dollars to have an uneducated, hypocritical, monosyllabic, teenage grifter give a "speech". What does Palin have in common with unwed teen mothers in Louisville? Almost nothing. How many pregnant teens in Louisville own their own condo, come from a family worth millions, and have seemingly limitless child care options? And painting Bristol as a teen mother who "chose life" is ridiculous. We know now that Palin was trying to become pregnant, so abortion was never an option anyway. Seems better to have a speaker whose teenage pregnancy turned her life upside down, and is faced with a daily struggle to keep a roof over her head and food on the table.

to talk to teenage pregnant unwed mothers? A young, unwed mother like Bristol, who chose life, instead of killing her inconvenient, unborn child. Just like these young, scared girls who all have chosen to do the same. I hope the topic of adoption is a big part of her presentation - for these girls, their babies may not be wanted by them - but they are most assuredly wanted. The WAITING LIST for infancy adoption can be 2 years or more. Families ready to love and cherish these 'unwanted' babies.

Another point - ever heard of kids who give presentations at high schools about the dangers of drunk driving, drug abuse? Who do you think rebelling teenagers are more likely to listen to - their teachers and parents, or someone their own age who has had to live a nightmare and come to grips with the consequences of their actions?

Tom you must be like none other on this earth. Perfect.

Bristol made a mistake and owns up to it. Many other young woman has done the same. Appears she has learned from her mistake.

What better role model. Who begrudge the remuneration. Is the political corect thing to do for some. Shall we look to Al Gore who said he would not profit from Global Warming but has ? Shall we discuss Bill Clinton’s speaking fees ? Would you rather Bristol live off her Mother, work at a local 7-11, or how about draw a government check. If Bristol has a desire to help others she has that right. Her compensations is between her and her employer.

Don’t hate Bristol because she choice life. Your Mother did…

feminist, green, atheist or progressive, so what's your point.

FHD of CA 2:10PM August 26, 2010

I hold no animosity for the Palins but... Bristol Palin asking teens to not do what she did is fine but don't hold her up as some role model. That's like Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones asking kids to not do drugs. Pure hypocrisy.

TomW of WA 12:12PM August 26, 2010

However, you are a fan of the hundreds of progressive, liberal universities and colleges who indoctrinate their students in the Fem-Green, Atheist, Progressive agenda and value system - many with public funds.

You've come a long way baby!
