Yeh, he's sorry now and all. Times were different then, you just gotta understand. (Or be blind and/or retarded)

Yo Hunter of WI

Michael Steele is contradicting what you keep repeating.

"For the last 40-plus years we had a 'Southern Strategy' that alienated many minority voters by focusing on the white male vote in the South," says Steele.

So who you gonna believe? A bit of true history and facts go along ways.

I agree to do some research but don't get you research from Fox News.

Its the same folks who are dependent on medicare, collecting social security or unemployment, and hate government. Demagogues‎ love the nincompoops who refuse to think for themselves and will swallow the lies whole.

Fox News is bogus trash and if you believe anything they say yo have got to be an idiot.

Fox News is a Republican network with no other agenda than to put Republicans and conservatives in power by dumbing down Americans to vote against their own interests.

It is a shame that so many are so easily fooled, Hunter of Wi you are a prime example. Rupert Murdock, with his Fox News and WSJ, dictates how stupid you sound with the dishonest NeoCon Republican talking points you seem to absorb like a sponge. Its non-news to obscure any real news and actual facts. Let's not forget that Fox is making millions off rallying idiots to watch their garbage - clowns like Beck and Oreily are getting rich by insulting their viewers who seem to love getting bambozzled by a slick con man.

Must be nice to guzzle the Fox propaganda and blame everyone else but the suckers who have flimflammed by Fox News with their republican lies.

Edgar of ID 1:35AM April 22, 2010

Your history is wrong - Democrats passed the civil rights laws to protect minorities, sure with moderate Republicans' help. Of course there are no moderate Republicans anymore. Since Nixon picked up George Wallace's banner the Republican have taken up the racist Southern Strategy and again are pulling it out of their bag of tricks for this next election. Reagan realized it was the way to win the presidency, and launched his presidential campaign in Mississippi, a state he has no ties to except to rally southern whites. Hunter with all your free time get yourself to study up at a library, turn off the cable and quit spewing foolhardy lies. Republicans have been as fiscally irresponsible as they have been implicitly racist. Get it straight the Reagan tax cuts and the Bush tax cuts were both totally unfunded deficit spending. Reagan bailed out the first bank, Continental, the Bush One bailed out Texas banks, and finally Bush Two bailed out all the big banks in '08.

Its been the Republicans that have been on an anti-jobs mission, giving tax breaks to off-shore all our manufacturing and to outsource as many jobs as possible - all for the benefit of multinational corporations who don't even pay taxes in the US.

Today Gm paid off all the loans from the government, loans Republicans opposed, and thousands of American manufacturing jobs have been saved here.

Get off your dumb horse and think for yourself.

Nothing to say??

Debate with you,I've tried in the past to.It's resulted in you throwing racist comments at me and my family. As in your post here you say nothing except racist, hate comments, empty.

I've pointed out all the good the republicans have done for African Americans throughout history.I've pointed out how the klan was southern democrats, senator Byrd dem was klansman.I've brought up the lefts money and influence,Geo.Sorros,Hollywood,MSNBC,CNN,CNBC,New York Times,Move On,Acorn.I've mentioned how gov.spending and expansion got us into this mess and more of the same will just get us deeper in the hole.I've mentioned how it was Carters CRA act and the dems that kept it going that caused the housing crisis(there is film of Bush and rep.calling to reform it).I've pointed out 21 million new jobs and the largest expansion of the middle class under Reagan, congress couldn't QUIT spending then either.I've pointed out how rep.balanced budget and had surplus in the 90s.I've asked you where was the lefts outrage over spending in the Bush years as Obama voted for every spending bill while in the senate. Why today do they keep doing the same with no outrage? Please don't give me the line,to get us out of this mess,it's whats got us here, agree. Our children won't be able to pay for this, let alone the freedoms we're losing and control the gov.is getting, are you ok with this,I guess so as you said once you wouldn't pay your medical bill no matter what.

I've mentioned alot to you in the past, all for it to end up in the same place,no facts back just more name calling back...

Again for the record,I don't care what color a person is or what color our president is if I don't agree with him I don't agree, but am open minded enough to listen to reason.
