Women are supposed to be the nurturing force in our world but this concept escapes feminist. They would prefer that their unborn child suffer a miserable death rather than them face an inconvenience. These people are sick, self loathing and hateful. Who else could promote, with pride, the killing of their own offspring. Sleep well Erbe, as the blood of the innocent children

of this country is spilled because of your radical idealogy.

Hey Bonnie that may be your point of view but not where the religious right is coming from. Try this out. First and foremost, its effort is to protect the unborn human life that has no one else to defend it.Second, it just may end up reducing the unwed teen pregnancy rate by teaching the teen contemplating having unprotected sex that they cannot simply abort the life of their child in order to make right a previous bad decision. If the teen does not want and cannot afford to raise a child there is another choice. Dont get pregnant in the first place. Putting in place a moral hazard (abortion) allowing the teen to engage in activities that may result in disease or unwanted pregnancies with a "bailout" awaiting them to make it all better is never the answer. Third, by educating women and girls about the unique gift they have been by God(if they so choose to use it) they will become empowered as to their place in society and the importance of there decision to engage in sex in the first place.

Wealthy people have abortions too, Bonnie. Research some statistics sometime!

The aftermath of abortion is real, personal, painful, and can take a lifetime to heal.

Some women become infertile after an abortion. Think about it: if a teen had an abortion when she was unable to support a child, then went on to complete college, grad school, and had a $100K+ career by age 30 but couldn't have her own children, how would she feel?
