Great article you got here. It would be great to read more concerning that theme. Thank you for sharing that material.

"your profession as a conservative 'blogger' may be lonely and desperate"

Huh? Are you sure you've read Erbe's columns? Because calling her "conservative" is uh... really, really, REALLY off the mark. It actually made me chuckle, though, so thanks for that!

On-topic, though, racism exists. It always has and it always will. I believe it is inherent in the species that we have to feel superior to someone else, and finding someone who looks different makes it easy to spot "those people".

Doesn't matter to me anymore. I'm numb to it. I'm used to being called a racist if only for the fact my skin is white - which is ironic, as that's racism itself. I just feel sorry for those in the world who are too dense to understand that disagreeing with a politician's policies doesn't equate to racism. There's been a lot of that going around.

Let's face it: claiming racism is a cottage industry. It waters down legitimate claims and propogates that which it claims to oppose. Pathetic, really.

Obama and his administration are the leaders in race baiting and hypocrisy.

America has spoken and will no longer be fooled by the fools!

One Blood: The Biblical Answer to Racism by Ken Ham

I originally had this in a CD form and borrowed it to a Pastor, although I think he thought I gave it to him :) It showed the racist premis of evolution and the biblical view of we're all of one blood from Adam/Eve-Noah. It was in the migrating and marriages that mixed the ratio of chromozones and produced the different color & features of the human race. We are truley brothers & sisters far removed and there is only ONE Race the HUMAN RACE with both good and bad morals and principles. Our fallen nature when Adam & Eve rebelled wanting to be they're "own gods" and rule themselves. "My people parish for lack of knowledge" and I would say this lack of knowledge is doing a good job. This book is featured @ Amazon if you would care to add to your perspective, it was quite interesting using Science the great master today.

I am a democrat and I voted for Obama. Race was not a factor for me. Unfortunately I know find Obama to be an intelligent man and that is all. It does not make him a wise man and it will not stop him from doing evil things. He talked the talk but, sadly, as we are all becoming increasingly aware, he does NOT walk the walk. He comes from the infamously politically corrupt Chcago political machine and that is his true mentality. After perviewing the details of his health care "reform" I can only hope that it never passes. This is the man that surrounded himself with the very Wall Street people as his closest advisers that wrecked our economy in the first place!

I agree with the 1st 3 comments. We are suppose to be color blind, but it is the job of the progressives to constantly pit races against each other. To first stop this resentments there has to be a forgiving of past mistakes and an ernest not to repeat them. To create a new slate to write on! It's like a bad marriage reconciliation can't take place because you won't give up the past hurts and start over. The NAACP leaders, media and Democratic politicians seem to be the worse! Look at the Mass. election, race is brought up even in that. If you oppose even the Constitution you're a racist. It works in gaining power and we lose. BHO has done more to hurt what little progress we have made and brought out the work yet to be done and the players who won't give it up. I think if we could have a verbal cease fire we'd find out the real racists are in a minority. BHO was not the 1st "Black" President, but he used that to get in power! Voting for an unknown inexperience man who sat out on everything almost he was hired for. He's 58% white,48%ARAB, 6%Egyption & 6%African if I remember correctly. How is that the 1st Black President, and if a Black President "was desired" why not Allen Keyes? A man real black man with integrity and honor vs a man of mystery with all records re. himself sealed from any eyes to behold and discern. We have and keep getting played and if we allow this behavior we deserve it. Your article is spin!

It can't be that hard to figure out. Mr. Obama isn't going to fix race relations...he's an elitist. Elitists don't care about anybody but those who can help them to sustain power and thats the monied class. The black poor in America are not better off with an elitist as Pres. Older Americans are worse off for the same reasons. He doesn't care about them. He barks at Wall Street and then passes out money like he thinks its his. He takes over the banks, car companies in an attempt to save union workers...who staff much of the get out the vote campaign during elections. This kind of dishonesty about what is best for the automobile industry is exactly what got us where we are today...unions cry, "Strike" and owners and politicians roll-over for them year-after-year. Meanwhile in a backroom somewhere union leaders and company CEO's know that at some point legacy costs will make it impossible for them to compete in the market place. We're now here and actually still lying to oursleves about what would be best. These companies should be allowed to fail-the toxic aspect of these failures will simple fade away with time and the profit side of the operation will be bought up by someone who actually understands monetary policy and the market place.

A person should not be elected to the Presidency because of their race, or race relations, or because they are white and young or a female or some other historic motivation. The Whie House is not the place for someone to be learning how to lead...we must elect leaders. If education were the single criteria-BHO would do the trick, but more and more people are realizing that he doesn't seem to know what he is doing. The simplest of things seem hard for him.

I find such articles a non-plus. Whenever politicians start telling people that they need some new dialogue-when in their world they work together with other races, genders and nationalities everyday-when such suggestions are made as did Mr. Holder early on...their credibility is damaged and we just don't pay any attention to such racist pandering.

It is not Mr. Obama's responsiblity to be Daddy to everyone. We just need to grow up and realize that people are just who they are...trying to tell them who or what they should like or eat or buy or vote for...will not work.. it goes against the independent streak that runs through every Americans being. These things take care of themselves-in the real world.

What was electing Obama supposed to do with race relations? Is that why he was elected? To fix race relations??

Because we have a black president won't change individuals. Bigots will still be bigots. Cheats will still be cheats. Liars will still be liars. And race will still be race. Electing a black man president won't change any of that.

This is the dumbest article I've ever seen...
