No woman can afford to allow this mess to continue. The politians are playing doctor and it's going to cost us our life if we don't stop them now.

I never thought I'd live to see the day when the government would tell me if and when I can go to the doctor.

Why do I have to pay for someone else sho doesn't have medical insurance? If these people would stop having 5, 6, 7 and 8 kids and living on welfare, not working but yet they sit around a picnic table drinking beer at 9:00 a.m..

The government just keeps handing out money without these people accountable for their actions.

Lets just keep bailing out everyone and lets find more ridiculous GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS and lets pay all the politians off to win votes. The government needs to setup a special fund just for buying off Congress persons and Senators.

Woman wake up, stop looking at Obama with movie star eyes. He's gonna run this country (what's left of it) into the ground with his spending. He has a endless checkbook and he doesn't care what happens to woman and their health.

Four women, God help us all !!!!!!!!!!

The question is, how much more will have to pay for Obama and his accomplices to BRIBE these women?

We (and our children and grandchildren) will be forced to pay billions for bribes alone. Obama and his accomplices have BRIBED everyone who can be bribed to advance their criminal SCAM so far.

How many more lies, how much more manipulation, intimidation, coercion, tricks like the Stupak amendment and BRIBES like the "Louisiana Purchase" will they need to force us to swallow their scam?

Obamacare is a criminal SCAM. Stealing from our children and grandchildren, Obama and his accomplices will “provide health insurance” for all just as they are “creating” jobs in districts that don’t even exist while unemployment soars.

Obamacare will destroy our health care, our economy, our freedoms, our future and our country.

The similarities between the Obamacare bills and the “URGENT,” “SAVE-THE-POOR” constitutions of Chavez, Ortega, Morales and the rest of the Marxist thugs are amazing.

Venezuelans, Bolivians, Ecuadorians were manipulated, coerced and bribed into approving those constitutions, which have taken away people’s freedoms and rights, and that have multiplied poverty and despair.

We hope our representatives have the courage and integrity to defend us from the criminal Obamacare scam, which seeks to impose socialism/Marxism on us.

We need to rally against the large nursing home chains who received medicare and medicaid, federal and state funds, and violate staffing laws and permanent injunctions like Sun Healthcare Group Inc did when they killed my mother Evelyn Calvert.

"thrilled to see women's growing power in national politics. It's something we've all wanted for some time."

Be speakin' for yourself, Erbe. Vote-prostituting women like Louisiana's proud, bragging-about-her-price, $300 million political courtesan, Mary Landrieu, and national politics shouldn't often mix, unless creepy, creeping Nanny/Daddy-state Socialism is seen as a worthy eventual goal.

"Over the course of women's lives, their political views on average vary more than those of men. Young single women start out being much more liberal than their male counterparts and are about 50 percent more likely to vote Democratic. As previously noted, these women also support a higher, more progressive income tax as well as more educational and welfare spending. But for married women this gap is only one-third as large. And married women with children become more conservative still. But for women with children who are divorced, they are suddenly about 75 percent more likely to vote for Democrats than single men. So as divorce rates have increased, due in large part to changing divorce laws, voters have become more liberal. "http://johnrlott.tripod.com/op-eds/WashTimesWomensSuff112707.html

I can't believe that women would oppose a health care bill that includes the public option. That seems to be the stumbling block, yet is the provision that offers insurance to more people. If states are offered the opportunity of whether or not to go with the public option, the citizens of a state such as Nevada that currently is being run by a mentally ill, very conservative Republican governor, would be at risk.

That health care reform could be in the hands of four women sounds great if we consider ONLY the fact that women just haven't had that kind of clout before. As fate would have it, though, the health care industry again hasn't missed a trick when it comes to their self-interest.

Visit www.opensecrets.org and discover some discouraging facts. Blanche Lincoln has received more than $2,000,000 during the past 9 years courtesy of the health care industry. Olympia Snowe received more than $300,000 in 2008 alone and just under $1,000,000 during her career in the Senate.

Those are just starter figures, fellow Americans. Our political system is tied into moneyed interests, and if you think those interests act in ours, you've been missing all the neat details of what disappeared from or went into the health care reform package under consideration. What comes out eventually will nicely reflect the desires of the health care industry, well disguised with "facts" covering why the public interest has yet again been violated. The "plan" will be a jerry-built monstrosity that will (1) cost more to taxpayers and individuals, (2) lack portability so that loss or change of job will be a big mistake, (3) miss most possibilities for real cost savings, and (4) so on through an exasperating array of might-have-beens.

I say all of this because I'm disappointed, as are many others, with what our elected officials, hiding behind "political realities," have once again allowed to be done to promising change for the better in America. I say "throw the rascals out" (sound familiar?) starting with the health care reform helmsman, Senator Max Baucus, I didn't mention that he received close to $2,000,000 from health care donors during the 2008 election cycle alone according to Open Secrets.

Next time we think reform in this country, let's think politics and money first.

Yes. Where are the women whose lives and work have been so changed by earlier women's struggles? Why aren't they speaking out to protect their own bodies, their own needs--or better yet, to support other women?

Those of us who were pioneer feminists never anticipated that the time would come when women would do--nothing.
