It seems that even a speech to sort things out may be too little to late at this point. In fact, it may even create a bigger drop in support while failing to clear things up. Opting for public opinion will angry some; leaving it out will anger others. But then again, if the speech clearly lays out all the guidelines and clears up confusion caused by the reform, it might be a plus.

Ezekiel 34:16 says "I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment."

I support a public option, what would Jesus do?

I am happy having no heath care at all because this way I stay healthy. My step dad on the other hand has complete health care coverage because of his age and he lives in AZ. yesterday he could barely walk this morning I forgot to give him his drugs and he keeps getting up and going for short walks.

I am glad I HAVE A Non addictive personality. No matter how hard the drug pushers I mean doctors tried, They could not get me hooked.

As an Adult I have few if any health issues, I get no flu shots and do not get the flu but I do get a sore throat about once A year and since I moved here Around four years ago I Have Had no seizures. not something the drug lords want to here. But if public option is passed I might consider it in case my health does fail me.

But I will never go to the greedy private health care drug lords(doctors) for help again unless somebody else calls the ambalance.

Let me see. The republicans support men who cheat on their wife and lied to the whole nation, minister had sex with man and denied it, senator had sex with other man in the airport and got caused, and best of all, boarding house which i called a whore house, on C-street only for repubican senators. and they are complaining about the president's speech now.

Talking about moral and family value, reublican party has none.

Healthcare reform? No need, the vast majority with health insurance say they're just fine. You think genius?

next time post a blog entry worth reading. I will help this time but you need to follow it up with some good blogging tomorrow.

Fist fight breaks out; 65-year-old victim has Medicare

California authorities say a clash between opponents and supporters of health care reform ended with one man biting off another man's finger.

O'Hanlon says the man got into an argument and fist fight, during which he bit off the left pinky of a 65-year-old man who opposed health care reform.

Obama needs to focus the debate to two prime issues.

1. How to insure those without, and being honest about how to pay for it.

2. How to limit the growth in costs.

Focus on these two issues, and remove everything else from the bills ( such as government "help" with end of life issues, "incentives" for medical schools to admit more minorities, etc)

Both Republicans and Democrats have distorted the issues. Its time for members of congress to become leaders and stop the distortions coming from both sides.

A lot is at stake in this debate. Members of both parties are playing politics instead of trying tp help the American people.

Maye its time to vote ALL federal officials out of office and start over.

I do not believe in these manipulated polls because I for one hangup when they call and they probably do not know for sure if every body they talk to is A registered voter.

I am proud to be an American so I do vote as an independent Because I do not believe competition belongs in the white house. Debate allows us to learn and adjust competition if appropriate allows us to improve if we have good sportsmanship but can be very destructive if all sides have their own agenda and do not follow A set format.

America should have one agenda, AMERICA and whats good for the people. I believe grass roots groups all over America and on the Internet is our best bet

and that we could have local representatives that we know or can get to know personally go to city counsel meetings and crowded town halls with a list of your questions and concerns and these groups could meet two or more times a month and meet with other grass roots groups every two or three months. We are all in this together and we all know what we want and need so lets be quiet no more. Am I a dreamer? I sure am But I also have faith in America, Do you?

Every one in the USA who votes against Obama's healthcare plan initiative should watch the film 'First do no Harm' starring Meryl Streep about a family whose 8 year old son has epilepsy. They discover that they do not have medical assurance even though they thought they had. They could not afford the treatment and their house was foreclosed.

That would not happen in the UK as first class treatment is open to all - rich or poor.

The UK NHS treats all - no-one has to worry about whether they can afford it.

I pay £2 per week National Insurance.

Although Obama has not done enough to explain his vision the Republicans are clearly at fault for lying to Americans just to protect their health care industry connections and funding. There is an interesting related post at http://iamsoannoyed.com/?page_id=588
