While speculation may threaten the economy recovery, speculation is just of symptom:

1. Too little excess capacity

2. Too much liquidity

Speculators then jump on. If there was as much excess capacity as in the mid 1990s and there was a strong dollar policy, speculators would go elsewhere.

I would build my own Technology If I could afford it. You people in big cities should wake up and see what you have available to you.

You can get to know your many neighbors and share a garage or small ware house or something and put your heads together to build something that will benefit yourselves and maybe us to, And in the process get to know one another better.

You can still find a little information on the Internet for free search for "How to build your own....." The Internet still has some useful features even though it has been so badly infected by big business. I was on the Internet from the beginning and it used to be called the information super highway it is pretty much the same now except it is bigger and you have to pay for a lot more then you did back then. They were even a few free Internet service providers (I.S.P) until big I.S.P's shut them down through the courts.

Small I.S.P'S are why our prices are as low as they are. But many of the small I.S.P's sold us out to the Big I.S.P's so price's will be going up.

As the dollar loses value, the price of imports will go up.

Eventually, when the world destroys the dollar because of what the Federal Reserve and Congress and Hussein are doing to it, it will be nearly impossible to pay for imports.

When you are starving in your darkened husk of a city due to energy shortage, remember to thank the Democrats for their domestic energy production embargo.

Rampant oil-market speculation is taxing American families for the second year in a row. Congress must stop this manipulation before rising prices derail America’s economic recovery. Help do your part to lower energy prices. Take action by visiting by www.StopOilSpeculationNow.com.

Car companies 'hiding' technology? Yes "for your own good". However, once aftermarket items and kits are available -- plug conversions for hynrids -- now the car makers are suddenly offering plug hybrids. Other technology such as engine shutoff at lights, etc, the American manufacturs just do half way and then say no one wants it.

All three are intertwined in making money together. California should love these guys, especially LA. CA is now spending billions of dollars on a subway system for LA. The gotcha point. LA had an awesome subway system back in the day that when the car, tire, and oil companies bought it all up, they closed it. Same with electric trolleys in cities, shut down by car, tire, and oil. Now in order for us to move forward we are actually spending money on stuff we already had and tore down.
