does not infer by definition to make one happy, rather to make the tough decisions that come from logic, reason, and deduction (Liberals think this is a law firm). Tough decisions by definition are not going to be liked by all...

You are right, When in Competition you try to outsmart the other side in a true debate you work out a compromise or A Better deal that was possible before the two or more sides come together.

I believe its possible President Obama tried to rushed through his plan a little to fast with out a proper debate with the American people.

I believe we need education/health care Reform and maybe even medical staff reform.

Education does not benefit the unhealthy as much as the healthy. and I believe through experience A doctor needs to work with his patient who has long term or permanent health issues instead of believing they know it all and dismiss anything the patient says.

I have heard and believe through experience Doctors have become to impersonal, Of course this is also true with officials of all kinds in large cities that is why I like small cities. They are less like robots and are more real than city folk..

Of course I do see signs of life in the cities again and president obama may Have did a favor by trying to move to fast and causing people to take notice and have questions about his bill.

We need health care Like no other A Complete new American Heath care that will be an examole to other nations

Actually, a congress person represents 100% of their constitutents, even those who may not be white or in agreement....

Hey, she's their representative. If 91% are white she is just representing THEM!

Everything is a competition for politicians. Even news interviews. Thankfully campaigns are just that. Once they have won they have to work together to get anything done. Town hall meetings right now is just another campaigning round. Each party sticks to talking points its party leaders make. There is no real dialogue.

I have heard awhile back that republicans and democrats was changing places, I do not Know if this is true because I am not A democrat or A republican, I am an American I Like Debates not competition in most competitions their are losers where in debates there is a exchange of ideas and it can be a learning process for both sides or everybody at the debates.

I know the politicians even turned debates into a contest which means somebody has to lose. well I would rather learn and debate than lose lets take competition out and put America in our debates so we can move foreword to a better future We have been stagnant a long time because of greed.

We cannot grow if we are fighting amongst ourselves and cannot work out our deferences

I am checking this site out

REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY:

This approach entails people voting to elect representatives in a free and fair

electoral system to make policy for them under a wide range of checks and

balances to help ensure leadership accountability. The United States is a Republic

that follows the ideals of a Representative Democracy. Our Electoral College is

an example of voting via a Representative Democracy.

CRITERIA FOR A DEMOCRATIC PROCESS

EFFECTIVE PARTICIPATION:

All the members must have equal and effective opportunities for making their

views known and an equal influence on what the policy should be.

VOTING EQUALITY:

Every member must have an equal and effective opportunity to vote and all votes

must be counted as equal.

ENLIGHTENED UNDERSTANDING:

Each person must have equal and effective opportunities for learning about the

relevant policies and their likely consequences.

Look here's the deal, liberals will always say that republicans are racist because that's all they have. Every time one rises up and gets power whether it be the presidency or congress you can bet that mass corruption and fraudulent use of tax payer dollars will soon follow. So you got some good ole boys who chew tobacco and care more about their guns then they do about other people. That doesn't make them racist. They feel the same about me as a white guy as they would about anyone who they felt was intruding on their liberties. You libs go on about racism in the gop but I assure you and all of America knows it even if you are to chicken to admit but white people are not the only racist in America. So as your failed ideas squander the wealth of our children and your cowardly actions put us all in jeopardy remember this. We republicans will be here to pick up the pieces and rebuild the country just like we did in the eighties after your great white hope damn near destroyed our country. Get over it! Every time one of you opens your mouth you expose yourself to the country exactly what your intentions are. There is an uprising coming and Americans will not tolerate this administration any longer. No matter what you call us!

Well, "dummy" MIT of GA - at least you signed your post appropriately this time although it really wasn't necessary given the fact the post speaks for itself and the intellect of the individual behind the keyboard. Obviously you are of the belief that having an education exempts the necessity for "hard work" when in reality the exemption is self-valued based on a poor work ethic and lack of pride. As for my standard, it is the standard of taking pride in my country and what it stands for and being a productive citizen. It means earning your way and being appreciative of those wonderful things you so aptly referred to as expectations instead of sitting back on your haunches and degrading the very individuals who are not too proud to work for a living instead of looking for others to do it for them. Does that shoe fit you? My guess is it does. So "dummy", you go ahead and sit back and relax and enjoy the benefits of others hard work. While you and many others referred to in my original post continue to look for something for nothing, I will continue to take pride in my college degreed profession and even more-so in my son who was not afraid to defend these privileges in this awful conflict. Too bad you can't say the same. I am not ashamed as you should be.
