kathi agrees with you, finally. But does she really?

lets see, you attribute women getting off easier on DUI charges as affirmative action and this little tidbit, "College drinking has a lot to do with it. That has risen in recent years, and since more females than males populate the campuses of many co-ed liberal arts institutions, more young women are drinking."

I seriously doubt kathi sees eye to eye with you on this. But she did initially agree so she could be dumbed down by now. sounds like she reads your posts alot.

Colleges became co-ed liberal arts institutions when?

and females drinking at them is new? Really? because you must not have graduated from one if you think this to be true.

Erbe writes: "The fact is, a car is an equally lethal weapon when a drunk woman is behind the wheel as it is when a drunk man is driving."

I disagree. Based on my 30 year of driving experience, women are worse drivers then men. Consequently, they become more lethal then men when they're drunk. ;-)

I knew there had to be SOMETHING I could agree on w/Bonnie, although the headline is a bit extreme. Women have not quite come close to "closing the drunk driving gap" --men still account for nearly 80% of the arrests. The good news is that DUI arrests have gone down significantly b/t 1998 & 2007 - by 15,000.

The media encourages females to act more like males. Congratulations.
