Letting Gun Nuts Pack Weapons Near Obama Is Insane

Be careful of what rights you attempt to take away. There is currently a bill that would allow the Annoited One to shutdown private computer networks - talk about jeopardy of freedom of speech! Of course, they say that it's only in the event of virus emergencies. But once the power has been given, how long is it before it is abused? Any high ranking government official that will fire the CEO of a PUBLIC company has already shown complete disregard for the constitution and is more than willing to overstep whatever bounds necessary in order to inflict his will on an unwilling people.

Ms. Erbe wants to heap all the invective she can muster against the "man with a gun" she saw on CNN. She did not interview this man personally. She evidently knows nothing about his personal motivations. She only knows that he carried what appears to be a gun in public, and that she does not like the thought of it.

She has a lot in common with Chicken Little. However, I doubt that she will ever gain enough wisdom to understand that the real threat posed against American liberty fueled by her irrational fears are much more dangerous than any potential threat posed by an armed citizen who lives on the other side of the country from me.

you are what is wrong with this country. there is absolutely nothing wrong with carrying firearms. maybe you are just scared of guns.

all of your comments, including your headline, betray the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about and you want nothing more than to disarm honest citizens to make yourself feel safe. The president is protected by armed professionals with fully automatic weapons, who know better than you what is and is not a threat, and guess what, they said he was not a threat.

you should be drug out into the street and flogged publicly.

This public “lynching” of a Black man with a “Patrol rifle” by racist bigots, like media whore Bonnie Erbe, is why a permit should be required to write articles for public viewing. Each article should have to be registered and there should be a minimum 14 day waiting period before the article can be printed; to give time for the articles to be “facts check” and establish the truth and “good character” of the author before the public is exposed to this potential dangerous media weapon.

While guns may kill many; in the 40’s Hitler didn’t kill a single person by his own hand, but his spoken and written words caused the death of millions of innocent people.

All Bonnie Erbe’s fact-less drivel lacked to be complete was a burning Cross in the background and the ending: “Seig Heil!”
