Obama's Inexperience is Showing on Healthcare

Since when is it a lie that Obama won't harm Medicare when Obama himself says he will fund the new Healthcare system by using 300 billion dollars from the existing Medicare fund.

Medicare, by the way is set up for those senior citizens over 65 years of age; not 25, not 35, not 45, not 55. It also has been stated that the Medicare fund will be out of money in a short time of years. SO, the great brain Obama will shorten this time by giving out the fund to everybody, thereby having the whole country out of medical funding after Obama gets out of office so the people can't impeach him for hurting the welfare of the citizens of the United States.

Better get him out of office now, impeach him before he destroys the country. Obama, much akin to Al Gore, is taking credit for turning the economy around. At least he didn't invent the internet or come up with the Global Warming story that got Gore a Nobel Prize.

Let's give Obama a Nobel Prize too, or a gold star and then impeach him before he runs up the National Debt to the point where the United States goes into Bankruptcy.

Inexperience, unqualified and fool are a very nice and gentle way to describe the countries biggest goof ever in politics, Obama!!

DOES IT MATTER, HONESTLY of FL 10:31PM August 20, 2009

These staged townhall shenanigans are not representative of Americans.

A majority of American want healthcare reform. Our economy can't sustain the runaway cost of healthcare anymore and without any reform we all face using bankruptcy and emergency rooms to pay for our healthcare in the future. Small business won't offer be able to sustain offering healthcare, and the number of uninsured people will increase if we go for the obstructionist do nothing plan put out by Big Pharma and Big Health Insurance.

We just can't let for this wacko grandstanding misrepresent public sentiment anymore - put up by Big Pharma/Big Insurance who are out to protect their profiteering monopolies. Are you trying to tell me the LaRouche supporters, militias and Aryan nations folks protesting at these events represent America. These wingnuts are not representing the 40 million people without health insurance.

Yes Americana are anxious. More than half of some of these crowds volunteer the fact they're currently on Medicare - none of this debate would even effect them - they got their Public Option already. Lies about cutting Medicare brought out lots of concerned people, but their unfounded concerns were stirred up by lies and misrepresentations coming from right wing hitmen/lobbyists and their medical industrial supporters.

Dishonesty is the only language these sleazeball conservatives know.

Forget bipartisanship - there is no negotiating with these wack jobs anymore.

Why is that liberals and the press cannot believe that it is just honest Americans who are opposed to this plan. We have been opposed to a lot of things and now we have had it. We are not being quiet any longer. Stop blaming special interest and republicans for this. As far as I can see they both were going to sell us down the river for a piece of the pie, especially the drug companies. They are not the ones who are stopping this debacle. It is the ordinary taxpayers who are finally coming alive.

What next? Elect some common sense officials that are not lawyers and are not career politicians

No one could have guessed the extent that special interests groups have gone to undermine Obama and the rest of the country who want healthcare reform (but don't have the billions of dollars to buy the professional swiftboating DC lobbyists and the extreme nastiness of mercenary rent-a-mobs).

But Americans recognize the unpatriotic character of the opposition, with their strong arm tactics of Dick Armey's brownshirts, Big Pharma/Insurance's purchasing of GOP politicians lock-stock-and-barreland, the audacity to play on the fears and ignorance of a anxious public.

Push ahead and get healthcare reform, please.

I used to work in a long term care rehab hospital where we only took care of uninsured Americans. I can say that there were a minority of illegal aliens there and although we tried to fly them back to Mexico..that was such an arduous and difficult task, that we often opted to leave them there until they got better, something that not infrequently took over a year. Now, in order to send someone to Mexico, you need to get their birth certificate, otherwise...how do you know they are Mexican? This is the only way Mexico will allow someone to be sent back. So, Mexicans know this, and refuse to turn in their birth certificate or claim they have lost it and thats it, there is nothing that can be done. So, the problem needs to be addressed with the cooperation of the Mexican government and consulate, who by the way, never return phone calls. The problem is very bureaucratic and needs to be resolved at the top of the bureaucratic channels, not at the bottom.

The government has set up study groups to look into the problems with health care and evaluate why and who are the uninsured in America. This has been studied since 2003. It is clear, that the uninsured for the most part are young illegal aliens....or mexicans. Now, I have no problem with people emigrating to the U.S. My parents are immigrants, all of us, unless we are Native Americans, at some point, immigrated or we all got off the boat sometime. But, it is fair that Americans should be paying taxes for Mexican's health care? I don't think so. So, rather than raise my taxes to pay for uninsured immigrants, why not apprehend them at the hospitals and ERs after receiving their free healthcare, and have government agencies there take charge of making sure they return home. Then we can look into reducing the qualifying age of medicare to 50 rather than 65 and making some regulatory changes to private insurers. This is a simple, although not inexpensive fix, but it is cheaper to fix an old car than buy a new one.

There is no doubt that the illegials are using our healthcare system; BUT there is a way to stop this, as follows:

If an employer is caught hiring an illegial, he gets 3 months in jail for each illegial he has hired.

The second time an employer is caught hiring an illegial, he gets 6 months in jail for each illegial he has hired.

The third time an employer is caught hiring an illegial, he loses his business the same way people who get caught with drugs lose their auto, or house.

I guarantee that if this were to be put into law, this country would NOT have a problem with illegials.

Also, if the illegial uses false identity papers, he gets deported at once.

The children of illegials born in this country, are still citizens of the country their parents came from, so send them back to their native country.

I would like if we saw all the facts without party competition so we can make a informed decision, I know very few reporters have the ability to report without opinion and I Like to hear as many opinions as I can but I like making my own educated opinion as well.

with party competition always twisting the facts and putting out out right lies that only the uneducated and weak minds will buy It makes it hard to come up with an educated thought even for the educated and I do not know if we have any strong minds left. with the parties fighting over power and lowering there standards just to win weather its good for the people or not.

Maybe its time That we stop saying we do not have the time to be Americans and become part of the Government Again, Go to a few city counsel meetings and demand more town Halls and keep up with whats happening so it will or will not happen.

Check out this site (http://www.cottagegrove.org/) and ask why we all do not have one for our cities towns or states similar to this

Why does your state or city do not have a site like this http://www.cottagegrove.org/

Just a thought

its my opinion

Obama and Pelosi are not about to let the voices of objection to their master plan be cancelled by the seniors; Obama and Pelosi have committed themselves to various caucus groups in order to get their votes. This is one of the sneakiest and underhanded actions I have ever witnessed in the world of politics. At this moment those two will promise anything but in the end they will satisfy those liberal groups that put Obama into office. Put Obama under oath and make him say that he is not going to ripoff the existing Medicare and Social Security funding. If Obame is sincere he will agree but since he is a politician, he won't because, "by hook or by crook" he is going to grab this funding to pay for his plan. At the rate he is going, he is going to create anarchy in this country. I hope that this doesn't happen, but he is really stirring up the pot.
