New Poll Shows Democrats' Gender Gap Advantage Is Broad and Deep

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the dems get the female vote; women love big government because, historically (at least in my lifetime), big government has taken from men and given to women (affirmative action, anti-male custody laws and divorce laws, and a legal reconceptualization of sexual harassment and sexual assault that is now so broad it is farcical). Frankly, I wish bonnie erbe would jump in front of a transit bus; sadly, we'll never be that lucky but this pig is nothing more than a gender politicking, male-baiting twit.

by the way, I hope Erin Andrews suffers for the rest of her life; like most "females" in our culture, she trades on her sexuality to get ahead in the workplace and, lo and behold, discovers to her chagrin that someone else can commodify her just as well as she can commodify herself.

I have to agree with Marc Rudov: women are capitalists in the workplace and socialists in their private lives (that means they take from their spouses and give to themselves) - at least women in our culture are precisely that.

i dont know who those 150,000 people were but no one called me and i will ssay this . i am much more concerened about futting food on MY table and am very tired of cutting back to put it on other peoples table. share if you can yes, but dont force me to do it when i cant. and i am neither dem or rep. i think they all suck . we need to get rid of the whole thing and put real people in there, people who actually know how to do a budget(soccer moms), people who live with in there means (grandmothers where the best), people who can cook for less than 5000 dollars a mean (rachel rae) i mean come one. those people up there dont even know what a job is.

dems support iislamm, supporting slavery of women, and all the rape, honor killing, and violence which comes with it.

dems deny a women the right to defend herself against violence, by chipping away at gun rights.

Hopey baloney aside, these new dems are against women. Americans are waking up to that

Bonnie - You are always good for a few female and gender conscience articles each week, unless of course that would mean defending Sarah Palin or another conservative woman. Your true gender concern doesn't run very deep.

Women on vote their financial self-interests? Perhaps one Repignicant women...

I disagree with your assessment for why women vote Democrat. (I'd love to see the stats on how many Democratic women actually receive government benefits versus Republican women who also receive government benefits - both usually due to divorce and economic dependence.)

Women vote Democrat because Democrats fight for gender equity in the private sector by supporting family-friend employment policy, equitable and affordable health insurance - fighting for equal pay, paid sick days, family medical leave, maternity leave, flexible employment schedules - not to mention physical autonomy.

These are WORKING Women's issues not Welfare Dependent Women's Issues.

Is it surprising that women are voting in their own economic interests?

Women (in general) have more sense about life and politics than men, because women (in general) have less distraction to competitiveness caused by testosterone.

Women are not voting Democratic because they "get" more government benefits, but rather because they "understand and think about" why government programs are desirable and necessary--and for whom.

Keep your entire female demographic going to the polls in every election and you'll have better government. That's the view from this man, anyway.
