WE DO NOT NEED AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS WITH SO MANY MILLIONS OF AMERICANS OUT OF WORK. THIS WOULD BE A SLAP IN THE AMERICAN PEOPLES FACE WHO MOST ARE ALREADY STRUGLING TO FIND JOBS AND KEEP THEIR FAMILIES ABOVE WATER. THERE ARE ALREADY TOO MANY HISPANICS IN THIS COUNTRY. ITS BAD ENOUGH THERE ARE ALREADY MILLIONS OF HISPANICS IN THIS COUNTRY, ITS GETTING SO THAT YOU CAN'T BREATH ANYMORE AS THEY ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE. wow.... how cold. basically you're saying that it's best for the impoverished to die. How else is an ilegal alien going to make a difference when it comes to pollution? Pollution is global; what we do here affects australia so by saying you come to your position from an environmental stand point you're saying mexico needs to keep their poor and stop raining on us. In a country where things are so good, do you really want children to be raised where things are so bad? If you really want to control population, start by joining a lobby that petitions for vasectomies/tubal ligations on those who fail moral conduct tests. I think we should keep creeps from being parents, not those whose only crime is wanting a better life for their family. Do you blame the homeless for their misfortune. If they're squatting in an unoccupied place, are they more criminal that someone who steals? Get your priorities straight. Maybe this is God's means of the survival of the fittest. They're doing what they have to to survive. Maybe we as americans should stop being so proud and be happy for what we have.

This totally ignores that fact that most of our LEGAL immigration comes from FAMILY-BASED immigration (about 800,000 family green cards vs. 140,000 employment-based green cards) and that many of those who enter under family reunification are low skilled or unskilled and not well educated. In short, we get plenty of year-round unskilled workers, just not under visas specifically for such workers, and these LEGAL workers often compete directly with illegal aliens for jobs.

I find it impossible to entertain amnisty for these illegals. They have broken our laws. Our President stated "no one is above the law" This to me means all of them have to go.By using E-Verify and heavy penaltys to employers they will leave on their own. This idea America will crumble without them is foolish. All my life and I am sixty eight we did without them. When America was America and we all stood for what was right there wasn't a problem. Our politicians know not what they are walking into if they back this debacle. Most of America is against this breaking of our laws and like Humpty Dumpty a lot of them will be falling down. Wonder what they receive in unemployment benefits.

What about the LEGAL ONES that came to this country and have spent thousands of dollars to the government to apply for the permanent residence. Now the government is saying that an illegal one can come in a get a path for citizenship faster than the one that the legal ones used and pay for. They need to solve the issues with the legal immigrants first.

It's the majority of the--THE PEOPLE stupid--who demand E-Verify become MANDATORY--not the government or many corrupt politicians. They also demand it be conducted on everybody in the workplace--not just new hires. It's outrageous that many of our lawmakers have been brought by the parasite business world, who thinks they have a right to cheap illegal foreign labor. Those parasite businesses should be penalized to the full extent of the law. Enforcement of the 1986 Immigration Reform & Control act should be mandated. Addition Amendments could be added? We do not need another Path to citizenship--better known as AMNESTY. Last one was a travesty of the law, with copious fraud. Enforce E-Verify and illegal immigrants will not be hired. Economics writer Ed Rubenstein’s new report, “The Earned Income Tax Credit and Illegal Immigration: A Study in Fraud, Abuse, and Liberal Activism,” The EITC functions as a wealth transfer to the poor, while today’s mass immigration imports poverty. The combination of these two factors makes a needless tax burden on native-born American families that much outrageous. The Center for Immigration Studies [CIS] reports that nearly a third of immigrant households qualified for the EITC in 2006. The author says immigrants collected about $12 billion from the EITC last year. Immigrants are eligible for the EITC so often because the United States allows “chain migration,” meaning that foreigners can migrate to the United States simply because an uncle or a third cousin came here several years ago. There’s no requirement that they be educated, literate, or skilled. Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation found high-school-dropout-headed households pay an average of $9,700 a year in taxes but collect an average of $32,138 a year in benefits. There’s no good reason why hard-working Americans should settle new mouths to feed every year. Those who sponsor immigrants who are relatives and sign an affidavit must shoulder financial responsibility for them. But it is riddled with loopholes, so new arrivals and their U.S.-born children ( Anchor Babies) often become lifelong public burdens.

Every year over 1 million legal immigrants endure rigorous hurdles that include medical examinations to detect diseases as well as background checks to detect a criminal background or possible ties to terrorists.
Additionally, every year over 1.4 million illegal aliens jump a fence into America in order to avoid our immigration checks. These invaders are not being checked for diseases. They are unknowns, possibly bringing with them undetected diseases and/or criminal backgrounds.
Today over 3800 illegal's will sneak into our country. Tomorrow, same thing, and the next day and the next...

obama better soon learn that American's don't want AMNESTY for these ILLEGAL ALIENS. We went throught this before. What we want is our laws ENFORCED! These ILLEGAL ALIENS are destroying this Country.
I can't say the ILLEGAL ALIENS are completely to blame for the shape of our economy, but they are a BIG part of the problem. The ILLEGAL ALIENS send BILLIONS upon BILLIONS out of this Country every year, money we will NEVER see again. Does this help our economy?
How about the BILLIONS the American taxpayers fork out for the ILLEGAL ALIEN BABIES, the schooling of them, the medical care and the list goes on, and on, and on.
How about the MILLIONS upon MILLIONS paid to jail ILLEGAL ALIENS for the crimes, then the cost to deport them. Does this help our economy?
Then you have these activist groups, the Catholic Church and the ACLU that want AMNESTY for these ILLEGAL ALIENS. It would be absolute suicide for this Country if AMNESTY were granted to the 20 million or so ILLEGAL ALIENS. We have more and more people out of work everyday and they want to add another 20 million to this Country? I say, "NO"!
If AMNESTY were ever granted to these 20 million ILLEGAL ALIENS, you can bet big money that 3 years from now, there would be ANOTHER 3-5 million ILLEGAL ALIENS demonstrating on our soil for AMNESTY.
An end MUST come to this illegal immigration. The perfect tool we have so far is E-Verify. It MUST be used by ALL businesses and Government Social Services. EVERY employee must be checked! If they are illegal, they are to be dismissed!
I believe it is time for all 50 States to pass a State law, like Arizona, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and a few others. It is time for these ILLEGAL ALIENS to go back to their home Country and get out of this Country. The problems they are causing will not go away until the ILLEGAL ALIENS are out of this Country.
NO AMNESTY! ENFORCE LAWS!
