I found lots of interesting information on www.usnews.com. The post was professionally written and I feel like the author has extensive knowledge in the subject. www.usnews.com keep it that way.

"I do understand what these women, what these girls go through in that thought process". No, she doesn't understand. She is not 16 or jobless and she has her beliefs.

Some other women are not in her position when they realized they are pregnant, or they do not share those beliefs. I will always remember a presentation I saw with thousands or pictures of hungry, abandoned, malnourish or mistreated kids: the caption was "this is also an abortion". Personally, I think that is even worst than an abortion.

Last but not least, I come from a country where abortion is illegal. I will always remember a girl, medium class, educated, telling me her story. She had an abortion and because she didn't believe that was "killing" anyboday, the only scar that she got from the whole experience was the fact that she was doing something illegal. She remembered talking with doctors "in code", being afraid of how good or bad the sanitary conditions would be during her procedure and the awful feeling of doing something "against the law".

In my country abortion being illegal has not stopped abortion: the riches get the procedure in some other country, the poor ones get the procedures at home, sometimes dying because no surgical procedure should be done at home (sometimes the ones operating are not even doctors).

The right religious conservatives are not "pro-life" but anti abortion. They are all for sending young lives to wars started because of greed, so defending life it's obviously not their thing.

The rest of us we are clearly not "pro-abortion". We are not pushing to get people to abort (as they are pushing people to not do so) but we are "pro-choice". If you are like Palin, you choose not to have one. Good for her. If you think that by having that baby you would ruined the baby's life and yours your choice is there to take it. Legally.

I'd like to encourage Ms. Erbe to get to know the pro-life movement. Our ranks have swelled with women and men who have tragically chosen abortion. Instead of standing in judgement of them, we welcome them with open, loving arms. And, if asked, we help them pick up the broken pieces of their lives.

Gov. Palin spoke before a Pro-Life group.

The Pro-Lifers don't go around calling your group the Pro-Baby Killer group, do they.

The group is called Pro-Life not anti-abortion.

You need to wake up and smell the coffee.

And the moron that is on TV right now is still saying that ObeTheTemprompter cut taxes for 95% of the people.

What a joke!

We could have had a GREAT VP instead we have Joe the Buffoon.

Do we even have a VP?

The wind is blowing and a storm is coming.

Governor Palin made a simple choice. Oppose abortion? Just don't have one.

A difficult admission before "such a judgmental group?" Maam, I'd suggest you get out a little more. The pro-lifers I know are some of the kindest, most merciful people imaginable. That's why pregnancy resource centers nationwide offer post-abortion counseling to any woman who wants it with grace, forgiveness and reconciliation in mind. In fact, many of these counselors themselves have had abortions previously. There is enormous sympathy and empathy for the women in difficult pregnancies.

I often hammer out a long, pro-life tome and I appreciate seeing others.

This time I'll just boil the fat off the bones of the thing....

"ABORTION - THE CONVENIENT CHOICE OF THE IRRESPONSIBLE"

Need to get some traditional bumper sticker maker to print about a million of these - Need to get to the, "It's all about me, and my p.c. worries.", secular progressives and make them face the bloody truth of their blind hedonism.
