Bonnie Erbe, why don't you do an article on why U.S. Snooze is losing readership. Or do you have a clue?

Thanks for letting the world know how Dems really think.

Is this author's article part of the new attitude the current administration promised to bring to Washington? No more divisive, petty bickering, away with destructive partisan politics.

Who needs hope when you've got unimpeded power? Who needs civility when you are enforcing change?

Thanks for the honesty. You have my pity.

After all, you don't really want to be anti-science, would you? Because, that's exactly what you're demanding. They grant doctorates in Statistical Science all complete with heavy duty math. Of course you never thought in your partisan zeal that you might be tripping the anti-science wire, did you? Leave the people to do their jobs.

I don't suppose all those anti-science measures by Republicans is/was part of your acceptable spoils system?

Finally an honest lefty Dem “journalist”.

One whom has no problem publicly stating the only way Dems and leftists can get into and keep power is to lie, cheat and steal.

Good job, keep up the work fellow traveler.

There is nothing good that comes from Gerrymandering. It disenfranchises voters and makes a mockery of elections. One of the most common outcomes of Gerrymandering is depressing voter turnout. Why should a citizen bother going to the polling station to cast a ballot, when they live in a packed district (whether they are in the totally disenfranchised minority or the solid as a rock, can't miss, why bother, majority) or worse a cracked district where the minority will always be edged out and have no political voice. Bonnie's opinion on this is totally unethical. There are computer generated, "split line" district maps for all 50 states, which disenfranchise no one. They are generated by dividing a state's districts along the shortest borderlines. Each district has an equivelent portion of the population and no one is institutionally marginalized.

Well, what can we say. Maybe you should read it:

“Impartial” PBS journalist wants Democrats to politicize the census

There are two problems with your post.

First, the Census itself has never been political. It is considered separate from the Administration.

Second, Gerrymandering is not considered good for a republican form of government. To the contrary, it causes the population to further distrust the system when it's rigged to favor one group over another.

It is disturbing that a journalist would advocate something that is contrary to the public good.
