Obama Picks Geithner and Lynn Aren't 'Change'

Of course there's change. Obama has added significantly to the crooks in the presidency. Let's see ACORN got him in office with illegal registrations, Timothy Geithner is a tax cheat, and we all know the Democrats who caused the downfall of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac... Then, of course, we have a stolen election in Minn with the always-despicable Al Franken. And, then, there's Obama saying he had no contact with Blogo. And, of course, the 14 lies of Biden in his "debate" with Sarah. Oh, heck, I could go on forever about what was probably the most corrupt campaign in modern history, and what is becoming even more corrupt with his attempts at trying to be a mix of Lincoln and FDR, even when we know FDR prolonged the depression. Let's see how long it takes for the gullible sheeple to figure out what is going on. Hopefully, it won't be too late.

I'm glad I don't have to pay for this garbage. You need to get a job with one of the tabloids; that's a better place for you.

Hey. Anything other than Bush and the Republicans IS change.

Or have you been dozing the last eight or 12 years?

But I think Geithner'd saying he just forgot about the SE tax—from 2001 to last fall—stretches the parameters of credulity. Or more prosaically, he’s full of bull. You know it. I know it. He knows it.

But since when is being notoriously feculent in spirit and morality a detriment to one’s suitability for government service? Actually, it’s a credential. The Senate has vetted Timothy Geithner, and they have found his ethical predilections to be totally reasonable by their own standards.

No surprise there.

Our Forefathers warned us that we must be a nation of sound principles. Unfortunately, among other things, we have been living with a double-standards for politicians and upper-class for so long we are numb to them.

Geithner is a crook plain and simple, a sloppy one at that. The experts that rave about Geithner are the same clowns that put us in our current economic predicament.

Imagine if you will; a non-Democrat nominee in Geithner's place... The Dems and the media would already have his head on a pike, (and rightly so!). Political Parties are an illusion meant to divide the nation into a stark 50-50 split, when most of us are actually somewhere in the middle. If "we the people" don't come together, and demand integrity and honesty, we can plan on an extended tour of "more of the same" from Washington.

Secretary Gates was allowed to stay on at the Defense dept. Secretary Gates lobbied for Mr. Lynn to be selected as his assistant. Now when Obama Allows Gates to have his assistant he gets heat from many Republicans & some democrats for having a strong defense posture?

You can't win for losing with you people

We're in the midst of a economic crisis. Change is inevitable now, its the kind of change you should be worried about. If Obama needs to pick some insiders who can get the job done instead of outsiders who would have a learning curve, so be it. I'd rather have someone I don't really like in a cabinet post getting done what needs to get done, than have our economic system collapse. I thought I'd just point that out because apparently whining and moaning about cabinet picks seems so much more important to so many than actually saving the country.

"Even a broken clock is correct twice a day." But still, I find it hard to believe in your case.
