Let me get this straight. Arnold's CA spends all the tax monies during the last 7-10 years, (a great run of economic prosperity not matter if it was fueled by funny money), then after he wastes it all, he goes and raises sales tax, income tax, etc. What the #*%^*(%*%? This will only result in slowing the economy more. How about we get to the root of the problem- irresponsible government spending? How about all the legislators join in the pain and cut their pay by 50%? How about stopping state programs for illegals? Every time the government(s) get into trouble they continue to turn to the working man and the small business man. Tax 'em to death. One day there won't be enough of us left to carry the bloated idiotic government anymore. I for one am sick to death of paying and paying to see my money wasted on freeloaders and losers. Arnold and ALL the boys and girls in Sac need to "man up" and stop the waste. Cut school funding? Are you insane? That is all of our futures. IDIOTS. MORONS. They should have their personal assets penetrated to pay for their mistakes.

Perhaps for the sake of consistency, the governor is furloughing several thousand workers who aren't paid from the general fund (and won't save the state money). Why would they do that to people? Each of these families will be hardshiped, at least take the time to apply the furlough to those people the state actually pays! And a 10% pay cut, when you already loose half you check to health, taxes, dental, SS etc, is more like 25% of what's left! A 1 cent increase in sales tax would've been so much worse? Same money, made unnoticed, now they're taking $500 to $700 per month from the alomts 1/4 million workers who run all state programs...

He thought he could just wave a hand and make the unions go away. When that did not happen, he then proposed 100 Billion of borrowing!! The slightest negative publicity made him run for this hills. What happened to "I will take down the girlymen".

The state is going to run out of cash in a month and your only contribution is that Arnold should have been at the press conference?

He has been working hard at trying to come up with a solution. Neither party wants to budge. Try coming up with something a little more creative
