(HONOLULU)(November 18, 2008) Aloha from Hawai’i.

A Honolulu circuit judge heard vigorous arguments in the lawsuit filed by Obama author Andy Martin. Martin is seeking access to Barack Obama’s original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate. The judge reserved judgment.

“We had about a half-hour hearing,” Martin states. “Both the Attorney General and I vigorously presented our respective positions. The Court gave no indication of when or how the ruling could come or what the result will be.

“I have ordered a transcript of the hearing and as soon as it arrives we will post it on our blogs. People should be able to read the arguments in Court. Rather than characterize what was said, I will allow everyone to review the presentation for themselves.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.- A former opponent of Barack Obama's has come back to haunt him over questions regarding Obama's citizenship.

According to a press release from the American Independent Party, former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and other members of the party have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento to stop the state from giving its electoral votes to President-elect Barack Obama until documentary evidence is provided to prove Obama is indeed a natural born citizen of the United States.

Keyes also ran against Obama as a Republican for the U.S. Senate seat in Illinois in 2004. Obama won that election to serve his first and only term in the U.S. Senate.

The Obama campaign countered similar accusations early in 2008 by posting Obama's certification of live birth, and saying: "Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America."

A copy of this document is available from the Obama campaign:

I thought Obama wanted people who disagree with him? But even the chosen one verbal attacked Liberman on the floor of the senate for his support of John McCain. I guess Democrats do not have a right to support the candidate of their own choice.

I thought Democrats were the party of tolerance? I thought they defended the right to freedom of speech. I guess not.

I guess they just say these things, but in reality they do not mean them! Liebermann can be attacked because he is not gay, a racial minority or in the country illegally!

Old, white, Jewish guy is not a Democrat special interest group!

(He will get Bin Laden in his first term? I wonder what this poster bases such a statement on. Obviosuly it is not a statement of fact. I give it about as much weight as the man with the sign that says "the world is ending", in downtown New York. Drink some more kooliade!)

Obama is going to surprise again and again.

He won't be left enough for some, right enough for others or centrist enough for yet a third group---and yet he will be all three on different issues.

The biggest surprise is that he WILL get Bin Laden in his first term. Soft on terror? Not a chance. This is part of keeping Lieberman.

Why are they "imploding" because they disagree with something Obama does? That sounds a little dramatic. Imploding is the debacle the Republican party became before, during, and after the election. To say you dont have a dog in this race is disengenous. The dog just happens to be a lot small minded opinions that need validation. I can see you kneeding your hands in delight everytime a liberal has a problem with Obama, no matter how petty. The far left is not the largest faction of the Democratic party, and Obama has already stated he can't make everybody happy all of the time.

R.L. of CA........Is that all you can muster in response to this vain piece of writing? How about "Nanny-nanny-boo-boo"........?

Rest assured, Obama will do whatever is necessary to get re-elected in '12... After all, it's all about Obama.
