SHE WOULD BE GREAT AS SEC. OF STATE. IT WOULD BE A GREAT MOVE ON THE OBAMA TRANSITION TEAM TO INVOLVE HER. SHE HAS THE BACK GROUND TO HELP THIS COUNTRY IN REPAIRING THE BUSH'S ERA OF TRADGEDY AND MIS-TRUST GLOBAL WIDE. WE NEED SOMEONE OF HER CALIBER ON THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, WITHIOUT PEOPLE LIKE HER, OBAMA IS DOOMED!` WE SHOULD HAVE ELECTED HER FROM THE START OF. The New America!

Now that America has decided, we can all celebrate The New America.

The critics of American "Hypocracy" ("Hypocracy" is defined by the Urban Dictionary as "What Democracy turns into when all of the politicians in your country are liars.") can now be silenced.

For centuries, the American Dream was denied to many Americans because our citizens failed to reach out and hold their politicians' feet to the fire with the strong grip of their votes and shake form their pockets the sweet desserts so eloquently stated in paragraph two of our beloved Declaration of Independence -

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

At the time, certain citizens (women, Negroes and others) were excluded. But, over time, we remedied these inequalities by learning to decipher the direction indicated by our moral compass. Now that we are on course to live up to our potential, we must stay the course.

Just as we broke with our past for good reason to create the first New America in 1776, we must all, as the modern New Americans, now dedicate ourselves to maintain the equality we have reached out and shaken loose from our past - to guard and covet it for our descendants, for those with whom we disagree, for those who are different.

The first line of our beautiful Declaration of Independence tells us why we must break with the Old America -

"When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them..."

The moral compass of The New America has brought us to a new "course of human events" that requires we New Americans to assume the new hard-won powers of equality and separate from the Old American past scarred with inequality.

We must renew our vows to the American Dream that all peoples of the Earth are created equal with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. With vows in hand, we must then act with a firm grip on our fellow citizens and our politicians with the promise that the American Dream cannot be taken from anyone and that we will guard and defend The Dream for our descendants, for those with whom we disagree, for those who are different.

And as The New Americans, we must pledge that whosoever would have the audacity to try to take The New American Dream from us must pry it from our cold, dead hands...

People seem to think that Obama's choices for key positions only reflect a cynical reality that he was never for change, we have been duped. They suggest Clinton is someone who would undermine Obama in a key position, she must be out only for herself. These are two people that have worked their lifetimes to be in a position to encourage a positive democratic agenda for this country. That these positions require a rather large ego goes without saying, but I believe they have the countries interests at heart. That they have their work cut out for them is an understatement. Democrats are obviously a still divided party. Every other person thinks that the success of the administration depends on the posts being filled with a perfect mix of race,sex,class,religion, and political affiliation. This is not a Benneton ad, it is a government in shambles. Obama will assemble his team in the manner, and with the make up, he sees fit to tackle this mess. Hillary Clinton would serve this country well in SOS role. People not fond of Clinton personally(myself) should remember her experience,reputation and dedication to service.

Anyone who wants to know why Senator Clinton would be a great choice as Secretary of State should read the article she authored in the November/December 2007 issue of Foreign Affairs, titled "Security and Opportunity for the Twenty-first Century." She outlines her vision of robust diplomacy and dealing with the root cause of conflict--incidentally, her vision dovetails with President-elect Obama's.

In short, no. Hillary Clinton would be a distraction and would send the wrong kind of message. Obama is the President-elect and he does not need a bitter rival undermining his administration.

Give this business a rest. Hillary's chance's with the presidency are gone and she would do the most good in the Senate with health care. If you're worried that women will be passed over again, keep in mind that there is a strong slate of female candidates including Sebelius, Napolitano, and McCaskill.

Let Obama do his job.

If you stop for just a second and observe Barack Obama, you'll begin to notice how strategic and smart his moves are. Hillary is a brilliant choice for Sec. of State because it takes her out of the senate and eliminates the sole authoritative voice of Democratic dissent.

Biden is also getting up there in age...It seems unlikely that he will want a second term as VP or even seek the nomination of the party in eight years. Barack's trump card for re-election may just be to put his then Sec. of State Hillary Clinton on the ticket, hence realizing the Dems 'Dream Team'.

From his caucus victories, the Biden pick to his electoral slamdunks over McCain and the GOP, Obama has taken the political world through a crash course in Machiavellian political strategy.

I always admired Bill Clinton for his unique ability to play hardball with a smile, but Obama proves to be a more enigmatic character whose rise to power still has millions around the world speechless. Obama's gift, be it natural or otherwise will serve him greatly in his deliberate quest of greatness.
