The McCain-Palin Rift

This McCain/Palin rift tells me more about McCain than it does about Palin - If his campaign staff is so disorganized, with all this infighting, what kind of a White House staff would he have? If Palin is as ignorant as they claim, then they obviously did a poor job of vetting her. Leaders take charge of their staffs, not vice verse.

You may believe Obama has socialist leaning ideas or not, but "tax cuts for working families" was not defined as socialism -- it is redistribution of wealth from one group of people to another that Obama campaigned on, by providing checks to people paying no income tax by raising taxes on higher income earners to a greater extent than already exists.

A definition from wikipedia---

Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.

She is really ignorant. What else can you say about her. She is running for the Vice President of the USA - she is not running for dog catcher . How sad. Palin just cost McCain the election.

Sarah Palin - John McCain's new legacy.

The reason that they call tax cuts for people making less than $250,000 per year is socialism is because the crumbs will be to large according to their trickle down theory. Remember republicans think that the middle class only deserve a morsel.

"John McCain says tax cuts for working families is socialism. Republican used to campaign on tax cuts, now they say it's socialism to cut taxes for anyone who makes less than 250,000 per year.

What happened?

Obama 08!"

He's not cutting taxes for middle class idiot, he's (Obama) increasing taxes for upper class. People who fall under the presumption that those dollars will be "rewarded" back to the middle class are incorrect as well. Ironic how middle class people believe that taxing the upper class even more, will mean they'll get extra bonus (stimulus) checks from the government. Incorrect... the extra taxes will be spent on more social programs, especially ones they say are designed to help middle/lower class families, but in the end will end up like most social organizations/programs who recieve their money from the government and do little to help our society.

It's just a combination of two losers. If McCain's camp had let Palin be, it would have been a complete disaster. I pity McCain. Palin is only a rural girl fit for Alaska.

Why won't Sarah Palin release her medical records. Is she trying to hide something. What is the big deal about this.

Why won't Sarah Palin release her medical records. What is so hard about releasing this information?

Look, "they" don't make people do anything.

Sarah and John chose to be fakes. That demonstrates their lack of depth of character and true personal inner weakness.

Of course, all democrats and republicans who make it to the top have no character anyway. So, why is anyone surprised? We may as well be voting for Britney Spears verses Michael Jackson.

Vote for someone real -- Nadar, Baldwin, Barr, or McKinney.

You can only blame yourself where we are today.

The reason the campaign is so bad, involves several factors:

1. McCain had planned to run on a war President platform. Remember that the first thing he said after getting past Romney was that "I'm sorry, but there will be more wars." And he said this with a smile on his face. Problem is that war=bad public reaction.

2. McCain wound up with a staff unsure of how to market him. As a result, you have had multiple approaches which muddied the water.

3. Sarah Palin was an absolute disaster as a VP choice. No matter what her politics are, her inability to come across as a serious candidate doomed McCain.
