This is the time to take anything youve saved and turn to investing in the stock market, If you look at what the market has done historically you would be fool not to.

be wise in your strategy, people are getting out after a loss, don't buy high and sell low do the opposite. bulow buy now.The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. the 2nd best time is today.

what i think you don't seem to understand is that the economy is much more complicated than you think. Yes, oil prices are heading down, solutions have already been figured out and are in fact in progress. The economy theoretically should be recovering. But one important factor that i think you missed out is people's minds. Fear, suspicion, doubt... All these things contribute to the slow recovery that you're expecting. You're an American and you must know. The economy crisis has affected you and your family. It put a curb on your spending and your consumption. Do you think that tomorrow you will spend like before the crisis? Definitely no. It takes time. And this applies to all American households. Things can be changed overnight or in 1 or 2 hours but people's mind cannot be that quick.

In researching John McCain I came upon the Charlie Condon/Karl Rove campaign issue of 2000. I really can't grasp how John McCain can work with him after what he pulled. After making a statement like "there's a special place in hell for the rumormongers" in 2000, and now hiring him..I just don't get it! That man slurred McCain's adoption, used racist tactics, and lost the nomination for John. I'm sorry, but if you'd said that about me..I don't think I'd be hiring you...ever. I'd never tolerate that, on ANY level. The McCains say all is forgiven and forgotton, but I'm dubious. McCain has some messy priorities. Illegitimate black child??? She was from Bangladesh! You should have raised hell on that one John, and told Condon to stick a giant boulder up his arse.

HOORAY! WE REALLY NEED THE ENCOURAGEMENT; AS MY 30 YEAR WORKING LIFE'S SAVINGS ARE NOW DOWN 40% FROM LAST OCTOBER IN A FLASH.

CONCLUSION MADE THE HARD WAY:

MODERN INVESTMENT THEORY IS JUST THAT AND PASSIVE INVESTMENT IS FOR THE BIRDS.
