B.E. enough of your half hearted effort at biased Bush/McCain/Palin bashing. Don't you know any other song other than "it's my party and I'll cry if I want to"? Others do it much better with more style and real facts. Your limp prose and weak attack just bores. All that is bad is 'their' fault and Obams is wonderful. WHY don't you ask the hard questions about him and his radical, social and Arab backers and supporters? What did he do at Columbia - no records no info why the erased section of his life? But do you care? I guess not but it sells more ad space to critize a "non-Washington player" like S. Palin. She is so "not us", so rural and common. Hello! Bonnie, THAT is why more people like her than... for instance, you.

I suggest you move your little liberal bottom ove to MSNBC and begin you slow spirling decline into obscurity. by by now.

She did a great job. Intelligent wellspoken classy woman for a change.

To the liberal left, whatever Gov Sarah Palin says will never be correct. Bottom line is that Palin's traditional and Christian view of marriage and her courageous pro-life stance make this remarkable woman a significant threat to the liberal left who are bent on stopping her at all cost.

not once did i hear a direct, clear response to a question posed. it was insulting. she is not even remotely capable of assuming the role of vp. i have a hunch, that in the event mccain were to win(doubtful), she actually wouldn't. i have a very difficult time picturing john mccain asking palin for any input or advice. she appears to be a ploy. it cant possibly be on the up and up.

Sarah Pailin at least didn't babble like she did in the media interviews. She was actually putting together coherent sentences. She still showed that she doesn't actually know anything about anything. She looked like she was reading her answers. Joe Biden blew her out of the water.

Gov. Palin tried to stay focus and confident different from the previous interviews she had had with the media. However, she was always escaping most of the questions about economy. It isn't her problem. The circumstances so far as the economic, and foreign policies do not favor her. She found herself in dilema due to the current economic woes. I will suggest to her that she should quit right now. This is not her time.

On the other hand, Biden did very well. He focused on the policies of Obama/Biden ticket and brought Sen. MacCain to question. Maccain/Palin should concede and suspend their campaign right now. They can add the rest of the money they are about to spend to the $700B to bailout these distressed financial companies which are on the verge of collapsing.

I will suggest to her that she should go and take care of her kids though she is good. But she cannot be the vice-president.

Oh, poor John. He's picked a running mate who sounded more like a BS'ing prep-school student in a polisci college debate than an informed and intelligent politician vying for the second most powerful office in the world. Biden actually sounded pretty good in that department.

The talking heads will say she did better than expected, which tells me two things: The first is that her short time on the national stage has already lowered the bar for her so much that not making any grossly obvious mistakes (there were a few small ones) is heralded as a sweeping victory by her proponents. (As if 'adequate' for a whopping 90 minutes in a debate for which she has been intensely prepping over the last two weeks is a victory.) The second is, even her own party doesn't really take her seriously.

I mean, come on, now. Her presence and demeanor were fine, although she tended to try to play up the joe-six-pack angle way too much for the venue, but the lack of depth of her knowledge and her deliberately evasive technique of rhetoric was not what we wanted to know when the point was to test her knowledge and viewpoint. For an unknown from the backwoods of America trying to be credible in front of America, it was disingenuous at BEST. To me it displayed her utter lack of credibility as a vice president.

On top of the pundit's reaction today (Gosh and golly, she did better than we expected. Maybe she really IS ready for the vice presidency - not!), her evasiveness and lack of depth in her knowledge last night and tossing in the fact Biden was far more on point, on subject and just plain obviously better informed, it tells me my opinion of McCain's choice was dead-on. She is a politically expedient tool, meant to pander to the disappointed Hillary supporters as well as the far right radicals in the GOP. She is intended by Camp McCain to be window dressing at best, not to be taken seriously. The idea that she was supposed to be qualified for the position she was selected for was apparently never a consideration.
