Changing the Subject From Sarah Palin to Wall Street

The bipartisan troopergate investigation was approved this last August, well before McCain chose Palin. What does Palin fear? What Palin taint do the Republicans fear--which will rub off onto McCain? Poor vetting job. McCain shot from the hip on this one and displays cowboy leadership quality.

Thank God. Her debut began with a series of lies she told to 40 million of us. That is how she started and thats how she will end, along with McCain. It's obvious to everyone by now that the McCain campaign DID NOT VET Sarah Palin, no matter what they claim.

As for the economy, the same players who caused the S&L crisis back in 88 are now bringing us the next round of financial meltdown. Phil Gramm and John McCain were in lockstep back then and they are now. Gramm is directly responsible for the mortgage mess, but also for the 64 Trillion Dollar CDS meltdown, which is the real problem the whole world is now facing.

Oh yeh, Gramm is also responsible for the ENRON LOOPHOLE, just ask his wife.

I have an idea, just use the same polygraph tests that our governement currently uses to oust its own in the CIA/FBI. If Palin is so right then just take the test on National television and if she passes I will be the first one in line to vote for her. Like EVERYONE ELSE I am just so sick and tired of lies and cover-ups.

In a few weeks we will make a choice that will decide our future. I follow an economist named bob proctor who has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly. He perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown, and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years is terrifying. He thinks it could get worse then the great depression. Banks in the US are going under one after the other. Country wide the largest mortgage bank in the world Bear Stearns, Lehman brothers, and Merrill Lynch which are 3 out of the top 5 Wall Street firms, and now Fanny and Freddy which hold 50 percent of the home loans in the United States. The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. If they didn't the entire financially system would virtually shut down, the stock market would crash And we would suffer beyond what any of us have seen before The future of these companies will fall into the hands of our next president. Lehman, Merrill Lynch, and Bear Sterns have survived for over 150 years and survived even the great depression they are important because they are the biggest engines of growth in America and they are connected to almost everything. The last time the real estate market numbers looked this badly was during the great depression and real estate often leads the way into major economic recessions. Bush just like McCain doesn't understand the economy, that not just my opinion it’s his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it, he does not understand exactly what is broken. It’s no surprise that he doesn’t. The people that make up these securities use complex math models very few people understand. They are basically bundles of thousand of loans some good and some bad that are then given rules based on complex math. It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this, and the things Bush and McCain have done for the last 8 years have not worked so far and won’t work in the future. If you do what you have always done then you will do get the same result, 90 percent of the time they have voted the same. Please don't just take my word for it Start to read up on some of this your self. MSN money, Elliot wave and, Bloomberg have many articles that prove we are heading into one of the worst economies any one has ever seen. So why are the poll’s even close? The chairman of McCain’s campaign recently said that people don't vote on issues they vote on a personality composite which means he is trying to sell personality instead of results. He believes people will vote against there own self interests. Lets teach him we are smarter then that and elect the ticket that can bring us back from the brink of a economic abyss. McCain admits in the year 2008 he cannot use a computer even to send email. It’s impossible that he understands how to help us, its time to wake up now while it will still help. obama08

This woman is 1 step away from being a felon, now she is trying to get Trooper gate thrown out. I wonder If I rob a bank I could get that thrown out. I am not sure what happens in AL when you break the law, but when you break the law here you go to jail. Getting it thrown out is only an admission to your guilt. I still cannot believe someone under investigation was selected for VP. This is a joke. Not to mention your ZERO skills for the position.

Duh. GOP says Dems are doing this for political purposes. Dems are saying that the GOP is holding the investigation up because they fear an "October Surprise." And you know what? I believe both of them.

Too bad I don't really care about Troopergate or lipstick. I will vote for the issues. A controversy has never met a politician it didn't like.

Both the governor and both parties agreed to a non-partisan arms-length investigation.

Then the Democrat put in charge of the investigation announced to a radio station -- before the investigation ever started! -- that Palin had committed crimes and never should have fired Monegan.

Meanwhile, a majority of the Legislative Council has demanded that Branchflower be recalled because of his abusive tactics, but the Democrat in charge of the Legislative Council has used procedural maneuvers to prevent that body from meeting.

Get your facts straight.

Would much rather have McCain and Govenor Palin in the white house - We do not need another lawyer in the white house, we have had plenty. Don't worry, Mr. O will have plenty of lucrative opportunities when he loses the election. It's frightening to think of him in the white house with his slick and sleazy lawyer ways.

Patrick of CA 8:41PM September 16, 2008

I think it shows incredibly bad judgment to use your office, and personnel, to get one person fired because you don't like him and don't like what he did.

Of course the Dems are trying to dig up dirt on her. The Repubs are doing exactly the same thing. Good God, haven't you been paying attention for the last, oh.. I don't know... 200 years?

However, Troopergate (and I hate the whole *gate thing)started long before Palin was named as McCain's running mate, and it really would take a stretch to blame it on Obama's "operatives".

Oh, lets not forget doing Alaska business on personal emails so that they don't fall under public records law. THAT one is truly disturbing. What on earth would she have to hide?

I'm going to keep saying this until it sinks in. The American population, on average, as a whole, reads, writes and comprehends at an 8th Grade Level. The Republicans know that they are dealing with a bunch of 14 year old’s, it's easy to lie to them. That is how they were able to destroy this Country in only 8 years. Our educational system, for the majority of us, is a joke. Analytical thought is uncommon, as a result we have the Patriot Act (a law that no congressman had read before voting on it) a national debt of such magnitude that all China has to do is start dumping dollars and we turn into a third-world-nation overnight. As our financial institutions fail and the dollar plummets, don’t think for one minute that the holders of the “Almighty Dollar” won’t cut their losses and start dumping enmass. The Republicans hate Government, they think it is the problem (re: to much regulation) now why would you put people who hate Government and regulations in charge of the Government? What do you think will happen? Do you see the cause and effect? Have IQ’s dropped 20 points in the last eight years?

The present Republican Administration has looted the treasury, gutted our regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EPA, OMB, the Civil Rights Division and many other agencies, and people act surprised when greed and unfettered, unrestrained, unregulated capitalism takes over. Do you remember the phrase.."let the buyer beware" and purchasing a "pig-in-a-poke" (sans lipstick)?

Does anybody remember the Keating Five and John McCains' roll in the biggest Savings and Loan failure in the history of the United States? Has anyone noticed that John McCains' son "Andrew McCain", sat on the boards of Silver State Bank and of its parent, Silver State Bancorp, and was also a member of the bank's audit committee, and that he resigned from everything, 30 days before the Bank was shut down by federal regulators? Can you say "like father like son"?

DO YOU GET THE PICTURE? EVEN RAY CHARLES COULD SEE THIS, AND STEVIE DOESN'T HAVE TO WONDER ANYMORE! SAVE OUR

SOULS......OBAMA/BIDEN '08
