Barack Obama's Problem With White Female Voters

I'm an Independent, homeschooling mom of three, educated, and happily married. I'm struggling hard to understand what's going on with women voters out there right now, and consider myself mildly ashamed to be a white woman in America. I'm tired of being lumped in with the rest of the femsheep out there supporting McCain/Palin. The fact that a lot of women out there obviously haven't read the comparisons between the Obama and McCain proposals, haven't taken the time to educate THEMSELVES by reading or researching the actual facts instead of listening to the blatant pandering towards female voters by the McCain/Palin campain sickens me. WAKE UP LADIES! There is nothing female friendly about this ticket. McCain/Palin's strategists obviously know how to play the gender gap and you're buying into it like needy children. The reality is voting in a sexist way does NOT help this world or the "cause" It's like picking a man because he's a man; it's massively hypocritical. It shows an uneducated, narrow minded and seriously confused side of many women that needs to stop. You can put lipstick on Palin, but she's still a reproductive control freak, she speaks in a way that belittles a lot of women by assuming we're all "folksy" unintelligent oafs who need to be told what to think and how to live. I don't want a "MOM" in the Whitehouse, I want progressive thinkers who care. Overturning Roe v Wade, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! She's an extremist with obvious control issues. The Republican Party Platform, which bottom line is NOT good for women of any age. Poor healthcare platform, women forced to have children they cannot possibly afford to raise, and perhaps shouldn't necessarily, welfare policies that push marriage as an option instead of other roads. Why is it her daughter gets to "choose" her unborn child and the rest of us might have it made for us? I'm highly dubious Palin's daughter made the choice for herself anyways, please. That Evangelical Mama had some input for sure (also nice to have a rich family to help you out) In the McCain/Palin campain, religion rules whether you want to admit it or not. There will be no separation of Church and State because these 2 Candidates obviously make their decisions on religious morals, not educated or open-minded decision practices. This is bigger than the US, it's going to effect the world. To me,Palin will have doors slammed into her face not because she's necesarrily a woman, but because she has no real political substance worthy of being paid attention to. Obama and Biden aren't perfect, but they're a WAY more educated,realistic and positive choice for this country. I mean heck, even my 10 year old daughter deduced that Obama was a better choice for President without my help. If a 10 year old can do it, so can you. Stop calling what some of you are doing thinking, it's demeaning to us women out here who actually take the time to read, learn and make smart political choices based on fact, not sexism, racism or greed.
