It's hard to understand why governor Palin is not followed around by a McCain staff member who's only purpose in life until after this election is to apply industrial strength duct tape to Sarah's lips. If any person comes off as a complete idiot it is the uninformed Ms. Palin. She talks thru her ass without ever considering the consequences. It's laughable to think that a comedic rendition of the governor could actually make her look better than her rediculous statements on a daily/ hourly basis. Her I.Q. may be high, but her common sense must be nil.

To make the comment she did today about Mr. Obama being an associate to a known terrorist almost is as relevant as Senator McCain mentioning his being a war veteran/prisoner of war. Who cares? and why don't the networks screen these comments before airing them? Sure, there's not enough humor to be found in this world, but having a political party's candidates being the butt of every joke to be had is rediculous if not pathetic. I'm only glad that after all the abuse that Ms. Palin has created for her party, that after she and Mr. McCain lose this election in a few weeks, because surely they will, that the Democrats can put the country on a track toward making it great again like it used to be. If the other should(and please take me Lord if it does) happen then we had better make this fine nation into the largest comedy store that we can, because no one else will ever take us seriously again.

All I can say as it least this article is somewhat objective - I definitely think the charges of sexism regarding Palin are overblown - I sincerely believe that she was picked so as to prevent Obama from legitimately challenging her on key issues.

She sends a shudder down my spine. She approves of censorship! She would fire a librarian because they did not believe in censorship. I think she is utterly ignorant of the world outside her own dazzling state--she probably has never looked a New Yorker in the eye and muttered her anti-woman, pro-gun, anti-gay, homphobic, and utterly unread views. Please let us defeat her at the polls. we don't believe in dirty tricks--just a clean thoughtful election will sweep the barracuda out of the waters.

Don't you remember the hype around Joe Biden. . ."scrappy Joe from Scranton" and how they went on to say that after his wife and daughter were killed (which is horrible and I am not making light of it) and he took the oath of office by his two sons' hospital beds??????? They convinced him to accept the senate seat anyway???? Oh, but he took the Amtrak home every night! What I am trying to get at is why was there no mention of the fact that he left for DC every day and spent long hours away from his two boys that had just lost their mother and daughter. Was that being a good father? Who watched the boys????

My point is that there should never have been an issue of her motherhood if no one is making an issue of how Barack raises his daughters with a working wife or how Joe Biden didn't stay home with his two boys.

Cambell Brown of CNN is a disgrace to serious journalism.

Quote: "Jon Klein, president of CNN, has issued a statement in support of Brown's interview. "Campbell Brown did what journalists do," Klein said Tuesday evening. "She asked fair and important questions in a respectful way and was simply trying to get a straight answer to a straightforward question." Jon Klein, President CNN.

To Jon Klein, President of CNN:

I am not surprised with your idiotic statement. You have the audacity to call Cambell Brown's utterly rude behavior, "respectfull"???!!! Either you think that we are stupid or you must be smoking something funny, or for that matter you yourself do not know the difference between "polite" and "rude" and the difference between "calm and collected" and "neurotic-phychotic" behavior.

Yes, Cambell Brown is a neurotic and rude anchor lady - this is not the first time she has been rude to her guests. Perhaps Mr. Klein=clown you were better off having done your own homework in "VETTING" Ms. Cambell Brown. She is a disgrace to serious journalism together with Mr. Hafferty!

With the exception of a few anchors and correspondents, whom I have always respected (and who keep you still in business) such as Wolf Blitzer, John King, Christian Amanpour, Candy Crawly, etc. the rest of your "pretty faces" are "knucle heads" who - I repeat - are a disgrace to serious journalism.

I prefer to remember the good old CNN that you have destroyed, Sir.

No wonder why - for example - BBC World News and BBC America are increasingly more and more in demand by American households. The fact that most satellite services and cable operators offer BBC World News instead of CNN International - offered only to 6 million households in the US a country the population of which is 300 million should tell you something Sir - that more viewers prefer BBC over CNN!!

I am very glad that the McCain campaign pulled the McCain interview from the Larry King Show at CNN. I am also very happy that the McCain campaign has informed the CNN circus network that they will no longer answer any questions by your staff concerning Governor Palin's private family life or any questions by you regarding her vetting, which in the final analysis is none of your business. Senator McCain and Governor Palin are doing the rught thing to ignore you CNN! They are not going to allow you to treat Governor Palin the same way you treated Senator Hillary Clinton during her campaign. Alleluia, it is about time somebody has the guts to tell you off CNN - Long Live McCain!

In the mean-time, I suggest that you put Ms. Cambell Brown on some tranquilizers or better yet - FIRE HER!!

Shame on Campbell Brown and Jon Klein's=Clown CNN! Leadership starts at the top! And, your top advertisers are taking notice CNN - trust me!

With the arrival of Gov. Palin, the true sexist face of the left finally comes out. Liberals suddenly aren't in awe of a woman that can successfully juggle work and family, and seem to suggest that ANY (Republican) woman who dares to run for office better not have a family. Let's forget the fact that the Obamas' daughters have been cared for by a family member while their parents have been trudging the campaign trail, yet no liberal has accused Michelle of "abandoning" her children.

It's nice to see that liberals are suddenly very concerned about the family and the role of the mother. Usually, "family" is an elastic word with the Democrats, denotong any random assemblage of humans who live roughly in the same place. Now, they take umbrage that a mother might actually WORK OUTSIDE THE HOME, instead of staying barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Horrifying!

The Double-Standard Party has even stooped to attack a 17-year-old girl; you'll remember this is the same party that looked in horror at any reportage of Chelsea Clinton - but then, her parents weren't Republican. Liberals are probably just mad that she hasn't made the "choice" to kill the fetus yet. And she plans to marry the baby's father!! Will this show of taking responsibility for one's actions ever end??!!

If Barack Obama had a 17 year old daughter who turned up pregnant you can bet there would be a media feeding frenzy, but somehow it is "sexist" if the same kind of scrutiny is applied to Palin. Wondering about how being the parent of small children will affact her job performance is sexist, but that's about the extent of the sexism she's been subjected to.

Comments on her being sexually attractive are NOT sexist. If that were true then dating would be sexist--heck, if that were true then sex would be sexist. No one cried sexism when the 'Obama Girl' video came out, and when pictures of Obama shirtless on the beach appeared women felt free to make appreciative comments to their hearts content without fear of being accused of sexism. But call Sarah Palin a "babe" and the Ferraro's of the world start having fits.

The six important things to know about Sara Palin....

1. She likes mooseburgers.

2. She hit an important free throw at her high school basketball tournament even though she had a stress fracture.

3. She opposed the Bridge to Nowhere (after she supported it).

4. She is honest and being helpful with the investigation by a bipartisan state legislative body. n(Well Palin had promised to cooperate with the legislative inquiry, but this week she hired a lawyer to fight to move the case to the jurisdiction of the state personnel board, which Palin appoints).

5. She gave a really good speech.

6. She didn't write the speech but, did rehearse it for days.
