John McCain's Sexist Gaffe: Cindy McCain in a Topless Biker Pageant?

I think the MSM missed one of the greater points about this story: why was the contest called "Miss Buffalo Chip?"

The only CONCEIVABLE reason I can think of is that it's a call-back to the old blonde joke:

How is a blonde like a buffalo chip?

The older they are, the easier they are to pick up!

Now THAT'S sexist--and not ONCE did I find anybody digging beyond the surface.

Here's another woman over 40 on record as voting for McCain! Articles like this just show how out of touch and in the bag the press is for Obama. Barry is an empty suit, a fake smile, and one, too many "Sweeties" for this voter. The women of America will not be well served by Barry-O.

McCain is a sleeze-bag when it comes to women. He had affairs when he was married to his first wife and tried to marry his second wife while still married to his first.

Obama had said that wives and family were off limits in the campaign, but now that Obama flip flopped again, and decided it was ok to take a swipe at Cindy McCain in his latest negative television ad, I think McCain should go after Michelle Obama for saying "America is a mean country" ... "It's the first time in my adult life, that I'm proud to be an American" ... taking her kids to Jeremiah Wright's church, and her going there for over 20 years ... etc..

Don't even bother trying to smear mccain, we're getting a little tired of the media's tactics.

Signed,

Life-long democrat who is disgusting by the partisan politics of the media.

Such a sour column. A man in his seventies compliments his wife and all women who believe themselves to be feminists are exhorted to feel insulted?

Normal women will love the fact that this guy is still in love with his wife. Even better if he knew it was a topless contest.

Get over it Bonnie, this remark is a net winner for McCain.

And what is this about Hell's Angels? For anybody who has never been there, for every actual "biker" at Sturgis, there are two accountants. Normal people who enjoy motorcycles, but because of the liberal zeitgeist in suburban America feel the need to go sompelace like Sturgis to let their hair down.

This campaign looks to be very enjoyable for the republicans.

He meant what he said about his wife being a trollup and a "c - - t". This is what he really thinks his wife (and all women, for that matter) are good for - boy fun. She probably has a nice set, although her money paid for them, not his.

madisonhack of WI 5:56AM August 11, 2008

Let's not take the remarks out of context...it fits the man's whole attitude of Ms. McCain. He is on record as calling her a trollup and a C##t in public. He meant it.

The only people who would be offended at this are the fat and fugly femenazis. Typically, people have a good sense of humor. I think its good to see a politician cracking some jokes. It shows that he isnt some stiff politician. Why dont we talk about real issues people?

how about this one - another mccain "joke" made awhile back. i don't find this amusing either:

"Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, 'Where is that marvelous ape?'"

Is that a funnier joke or sexist?
