Will Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker Doom Public Sector Unions?

In all the sturm und drang of Wisconsin, I have yet to see any realistic proposal by the Democrats on how to address the deficit. The following seem to be the possible alternatives. I know that they are against number one but would like to hear more about what they favor:

1.) Allow the deficit to keep growing until the State government is bankrupted.

2.) Ask each Wisconsin citizen (who are already among the most highly taxed in the country) to tender an additional $600 per year.

3.) Lay off 2,000 state workers.

How is it permitted that the US government allows its own employees to unionize, then collectively bargain and pull every underhanded dirty trick to persuade politicians to legislate increased pay and benefits against the very government they are supposed to be working for?

I just dont understand.

Why don't we ask, why are private sector employees falling behind?

Supposedly, the value of worker productivity in the US has been up for many years, but the useful income of workers has gone down. Tell me exactly, how will enriching the rich (e.g. Koch brothers, et al) improve the life of the private sector employee.

The corporations will offer the average worker what they think the average worker needs:

"Here sonny, here's a dime, and don't spend it all in one place. Better yet, put it in your 401K stock market account so we can invest it for your future."

I think the Unions should treat the Taxpayers with the same respect they give to private companies and show us what their current compensation plan is. If we feel they are due more we will support them, but if they are being well compensated well that's another story.

It's time to call for full disclosure and stop the talking around the edges.

Yes it is the beginning of the end for government unions; unions that should never have been permitted in the first place. This issue will bring down the party of, by, and for big government i.e. the Democrats.

Who are the unions bargaining against but the taxpayer who is NEVER represented at the bargaining table. Instead we have government unions funding and electing politicians who are merely shills for the unions.

If the federal government even attempts to rescue these unions again (trillions of "stimulus" money spent holding these unions harmless from the recession ) It will end both the economy and the USA as we know it.

As it stands the states who elected these union shills will go under. Their free market employers will leave thus leaving a declining base of taxpayers for these unions to rape. Their only play is to stick it to the Federal taxpayer, print money, or borrow it from China.

It is imperative to defeat Democrats where ever you find them and to

turn off the yellow journalists who speak for them.

Obama is their candidate and he has let all but the dimmest Americans know where he stands; the poor man still believes in the term "government expert"; how dim can anyone be?
