The Left's Limited Outrage at Hitler Comparisons

Seriously, liberals and the media have such double standards. Hank compared the inability to ever find a common ground. A pointless golf game.

The media overlooks what it wants to. Listen to the interview and at least be fair.

What happened to first amendment rights. People should lose their jobs for political views.

Man, this rag is pathetic. The content of this article is almost identical to an AIM article printed almost two decades ago.

Conservatives consider themselves such elegant posturers when issues of hypocrisy arise, but they fail to recognize the inherent contradictions and weaknesses in their philosophy, which has always been morally bereft. To be expected...they treat the Bible, the supposed source of their towering family values nonsense, with the same cafeteria approach they use with the truth.

For your next trick why don't you cite some Levitical law, of which a hundred others you choose to ignore, to bolster your political philosophy.

American conservatives are the last group on Earth qualified to lecture ANYONE on hyprocrisy.

Once again the left seeks double standards. When the GOP trounces them in 2012 I'm sure they will bring out the Hitler comparison again .

I thought there was more to the comment than just Williams comparing Obama to Hitler. As I recall, he compared the meeting of Obama and Boehner to one between Hitler and Netanyahu. I think he was pointing to irreconcilable differences and not suggesting that Obama has a record of exterminating Jewish people. It was in bad taste and definitely not thought through, but I also don't think it is right to only use part of the quotation.

Flat out, no President should be compared to Hitler. Anything "evil" that was ever done by an American President - and they have committed and permitted evils - pales in comparison to the person who was responsible for 20 to 25 million deaths and untold property destruction.

Comparisons with Hitler serve to actually lessen his aura of evil while really explaining nothing about Bush or Obama, regardless of which way you lean.
