Brown vs. Coakley Shows Obama Has Become a Political Albatross

As someone who worked on the Coakley campaign (but only after she defeated Capuano) I can tell you with authority that her's was one of the worst campaigns in history.

It was so poorly run that she could have lost to a vacuous male model...oh, wait, she did.

So, of course, Obama, like every President, campaigns on behalf of his party. But, you can only polish a turd so much. Regardless of what you think of Obama, it is sheer intellectual dishonesty to say that it was Obama's fault that he could get the unelectable elected. And of course a President's numbers fall a little during hard times...his numbers have fallen about 4 points in the worst economy since the 1930's, not exactly the disaster some would tell you it is.

There's a lot of Obama bashing going on. Personally, I'm rooting for the United States to do well. That means Barack Obama must do well. What can I say, I'm patriotic and I root for whoever the President is. Maybe I should have more of an agenda, but I just care about the U.S.A.

Perhaps Doug Haye is a partisan patriot - there are plenty of others on both sides who should be ashamed - but not me, I care about the country and support the office of the Presidency. I couldn't care less about political parties or about left and right.

Now, let's be honest, the country is in far better shape now than it was a year ago. To say otherwise is laughable. Should we have continued with failed policies and bury our heads in the sand? Or, take risks like Americans always have and stop all of this fearful trembling about spending and debt? Study what happened during the early months and years of the Depression and you'll see that we are doing the opposite. Or, perhaps you'd like to repeat that part of our history?

Or, maybe it's more important to you to see the President fail than to see our country rebound? That would be the partisan approach.

There's always something to whine about if you're so inclined. Act like American's always have, Doug Haye (whoever you are) and those who follow his cowardly line of thought and have a little faith in courage instead...the sky isn't falling yet, Chicken Little!

was "Teddy Kennedy's Seat" in the US Senate,is the third straight loss for Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats making

0 for 3 so far in 2010 and many more Democrat losses yet to come

for Team Obama assures Barack Obama his legacy of total dismal

failure and complete incompetence now has the added accomplishment of becoming "The Great Democrat Albatross" as well. The voters are sending Obama and his Chicago Thugs and

other Incompetents in the Obama White House and Democrat Congress that we are mad and fed up with you and your out of touch with reality socialist agenda and Obams's Teleprompter,

Endless Vacations,Jet Set Partying,World Apology Tours,and OBAMACARE and your out starting on Election Day 2010 and ending

in Election Day 2012 when the Democrats will have lost control

Maybe Brown will look into Obama's natural born citizen status. After all, the United States Supreme Court on the first paragraph of their own website makes the following promise to the American People - “As the final arbiter of the law, the Court is charged with ensuring the American people the promise of equal justice under law and, thereby, also functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution.” To date, the United States Supreme Court has failed to do anything in furtherance of the search for the truth about Obama's natural born citizen status.

Why does this matter? Mr. Obama claims that he was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. As his only evidence that he meets the Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a President be a natural born citizen, he produced a document called a "Certification of Live Birth," which he posted on his website under the title: "Barack Obama's Official Birth Certificate."

At first blush, it is case closed. A closer examination of the facts, however, reveals that Mr. Obama failed to point out on his website that his posted "Official Birth Certificate," as he called it, is actually a 2007 computer-generated, laser-printed summary document of his 1961 vital record(s) on file with the Hawaii State Department of Health. What we do not know, however, is what 1961 vital record the Certification of Live Birth is summarizing.

In 1961 there were at least six different procedures available to obtain a vital record (birth certificate) that the Certification of Live Birth could be summarizing. Each one had a different degree of reliability and trustworthiness, ranging from credible to ones fraught with the potential for fraud. Until we examine which document is being summarized, Obama's Certification of Live Birth is not worth the paper it is printed on.

Now here is why it is important for the President to be a natural born citizen:

The President of the United States is one of the three branches of government. He is the Executive branch. The nation speaks to all people through one voice, the President's. The President can make treaties, grant pardons, sign and veto legislation, appoint a Cabinet, as well as Supreme Court Justices. In addition to these duties, the President knows the nation's most important and secure secrets, and as the Commander in Chief of the military, has the military's nuclear launch codes at the ready, and who can arguably, either take steps to weaken the nation, or even destroy it. In the words of Vice President Dick Cheney, "The president of the United States now for 50 years is followed at all times, 24 hours a day, by a military aide carrying a football that contains the nuclear codes that he would use and be authorized to use in the event of a nuclear attack on the United States. He could launch the kind of devastating attack the world has never seen. He doesn't have to check with anybody. He doesn't have to call the Congress. He doesn't have to check with the courts.
