C-SPAN Demands Democrats Open Secret Health Reform Talks

If ever there was a wicked federal government "scheme" and "sting" simmering in this country it is NOW with this current Health Care Bill legislation (followed by Cap & Trade I'm sure!) that's being stirred up and deviously crafted into "witch's brew" deliberately & secretively by certain far-left legislators as they lurk, smirk and hide behind closed Presidential WH doors!
If ever there was a time in our country's history to DEMAND C-Span enter these secretive, clandestine meetings & negotiations it is NOW! Call or write your legislators...ask them WHO was in attendance at last night's secret rendevous at the White House? Why all the sugar-coated deal making, bribes & sweet bags of candy for one state and not the other? Why does one segment of the populace (i.e. union folks!) receive special favor to avoid taxation and while others do not? Reject their darn form letters and demand straight answers from them NOW!
This entire Health Care debacle is nothing more than a devious & sinister power grab by liberal Dems and Democratic Socialists (& am sure some elite GOP's are among them too!) in this country hell-bent on taking total control of people's lives, freedoms/choices, and livlihoods/destinies. And once they completely take-over our banks, businesses and health-care there's no turning back...America as we know it will disappear & be no more!
It's time to stand-up to these arrogant and shameless Statists/Elitists! We must overcome & challenge all of their childish name-calling & PC jibberish. We also need to mobilize ourselves quickly into the political rings and arenas and start the push & drive to take our country back!
The next time Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the ET-GANG talk about this administration being the most OPEN & TRANSPARENT that's ever been we'd better be ready to force their hand and make them PROVE IT! This shameless Democratic Crew now in our US Congress is the most lawless, criminal and devious bunch of clowns and theives the country's ever witnessed. Time to go Bye-Bye for them ALL and lock them out of the Halls of Congress forever!
We've all got a much better idea now of the FL/Dems obscure idea of "fundamental change & transformation" for America...it's Socialism folks! Nothing more, nothing less! It's never worked for the common good of ordinary men/women throughout the world and never will...all the more reason it will never work here! America...wake-up! NOW!

It is pretty apparent that Obama is a lier. He is doing the exact opposite of what he said He would do. He and his henchmen do not want, nor will they allow this to be on C-span as he promised.

You know, I have had enough with the “You are too stupid to know what it good for you” attitude. I have been watching the proceedings as much as possible and have found it very interesting to watch just how twisted the facts can get. If the final process on this travesty is not put out for the public to witness it will add more evidence to the fact there is something to hide.
These people just do not seem to get the fact that we will hold each and everyone of them accountable when all is said and done. It would be nice if there were transparency in this government of ours, that way perhaps all of the lemmings would wake up and see just how close the cliff edge is and perhaps help stop our country from being “Fundamentaly” changed before it is too late.
I agree that no one should go bankrupt in this country because of a health issue, but handing control of our lives to the government in the guise of health care will not make us a better USA. It will however bring us closer to fitting in the EU.
If we cannot even trust the President to tell the truth on this, how can we really trust him or his supporters in anything they are doing? Please stop this train!!!

Prior to the current round of Health Reform Talks, and the U.S. Congress's and Senate's clandestine (but unfortunately sucessful) attempts to squirrel these away from public scrutiny, here are are two of our elected representative's original calls for Transparency and Openness in Government:

The key verbatim excerpt from this is
"My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government."
2. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's actual 'Pelosi Announces New Majority Leadership Team' Press Release of 11/16/2006, http://www.speaker.gov/newsroom/pressreleases?id=0017
The key verbatim excerpt from this is
“Last week, in a stunning display of democracy, the American people voted for change,” said Pelosi. “Today, House Democrats have elected the leaders who will help take our nation in a New Direction. We will work together to lead the House of Representatives with a commitment to integrity, to civility, and to fiscal responsibility. This leadership team will create the most honest, most open, and most ethical Congress in history.”
It may be MANDATORY to keep a public record of these particular statements, before these should somehow be edited post-facto, explained-away or even removed from public access.

If this were the only broken campaign promise...Obama promised transparency and C-SPAN coverage while a wanna-be. No wonder the congressmen are bailing--it's harder to get a political plum if you've been embarassed at the polls.

Wrangling behind doors is typical Washington politics, be they Republicans or Democrats that are doing it. The bills that are now being negotiated between the Democrats of both houses are public record. The deals that need to be made in order to finalize the legislation may be characterized as dirty laundry, and no political party wants to put that on display. Republicans have made clear their unanimous objection to each of the two bills now being reconciled. Do they deserve a seat at the table? I think not. This is Democratic legislation and the closed doors, though usually unsettling to me and many others may be what's needed at this final phase of the legislative process.

Why wouldn't Democrats want privacy as they further mangle health care reform? Some truths are self-evident, it seems to me, but let's attempt making them even more evident.
First, while Republicans have had the reputation of being pro-business, Democrats now share that "honor." By caving in time and again to the $300,000,000 spent in political contributions and in a lobbying and PR blitz staged by the health care industry to save their turf, Democrats first eliminated single-payer insurance as the best way to cut spiraling costs in health care. Victory #1 for the private insurance industry. Then, Victory #2 came with a Public Option eliminated from the mix of possibilities for staying the increase of health care costs. Democrats cow-towed to the claim made by private insurers (and their Republican allies) that unfair competition would result and drive them out of business. Victory #3 is in process: working with what remains in the way of possible health care reform destined to cut costs.
We all know that's precious little unless the Democrats are willing to go after their ankles to save their knees--tort reform, prescription drugs, and others from an array tied to important campaign contributions Democrats are addicted to.
Wouldn't you want privacy as you made tainted sausage? Please, a little sympathy for our lawmakers.
Second, Democrats, like Republicans, have a lot to hide just in general. Visit the web sites of Project Vote Smart and Open Secrets to see how your favorite representatives and senators vote on every single bill and from whom they receive campaign contributions and in what amounts. Wear your flame-retardant gear when you do, for you'll have entered the jaws of Hell.
Politics isn't about you and me--average Americans and our collective well being--it's about politicians and their collective well being, which is linked ever more convincingly to corpoirate interest. Brian Lamb shouldn't even have to suggest that health reform discussions in the chambers and halls of congress be opened for all to see. Every tax payer should have that right, but the political realities of sausage making and face saving dictate otherwise.
Health care reform isn't doomed by any means. What a mess, though, American politics and corporate self-interest are making of the possibilities.

Candidate Obama duped us all! He and his Chicago gang appear intent on wrecking the economy; defanging our defenses; and hiding government processes from the American people. He has failed. The democratic party has failed. November 2010 cannot come soon enough!
