OWS at Zuccotti Park...

This is old stuff, Bannon! The OWS are nothing but bums, pigs, and dogs

...and the association of the OWS to Obama are, indeed, quite appropriate.

I had a lot more disappointment than that. I heard President Obama channelling the OWS language/message in his recent speech in Kansas. And then that very evening he headed off to a $38,000 a plate fundraiser.

From the beginning OWS has been intent on staying out of the political process for fear of having their message coopted. And that is exactly what the President is doing. But is words are empty rhetoric and his actions do not align.

If the OWS folks every do decide to get behind a candidate (And I'm not convinced they will) the only honest option, the only option with integrity to the cause, it to back the ONLY candidate who has gone down to OWS and spoke out specifically in support.

That candidate is Buddy Roemer.

The only candidate who is Free to Lead, who has experience as a Governor, a Congressman and a Businessman. Who owns a financial institution but has NEVER accepted bailout money or foreclosed on a single home, opting to instead work with customers and restructure the loans, is former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer, who doesn't accept PAC, SuperPAC, corporate or Big Bank money. Mitt Romney, the GOP front runner, loves Big Bank money ( http://www.opensecrets.org/pres12/contrib.php?cycle=2012&id=N00000286 ) and Barack Obama, the man trying to act like the populist Occupy-friendly president isn't exactly shy to that kind of money either ( http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contrib.php?cycle=2008&cid=N00009638 ; http://www.opensecrets.org/pres12/contrib.php?cycle=2012&id=N00009638 ) But Buddy Roemer doesn't take any of that money. He campaigns on the issues, and on a lot of issues he agrees with Occupy Wall Street. If that movement should have any candidate, it should be Buddy Roemer.

I am curious, I would like to know how readers feel about these ideas?

Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.

A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

Abolition of all right of inheritance.

Please some of you respond

Fair means the same RATE. If one worker pay a higher rate than another that is confiscation and UNFAIR! The only way to solve the debt problem is for EVERYONE to pay the same rate, that includes the low income earners that currently nothing. THe high income earners dont use more government services than the lower earners. If everyone uses $5000.00 worth of services, thats what they should pay. The government has no right to cost shift wealth earners taxes to the poor. Everyone should pay for what they use.
